This essay deals with the approaches of Hartmut Rosa to the current structures of time, alienation and resonance, and compares these with the corresponding concepts of the Integrative Theory of Petzold et al. It is shown that the integrative approach, in its analysis of the conditions of time, as well as of alienation and of resonance by using the body concept as its starting point, begins deeper than the observations and reflections of Rosa. By claiming to be proactively engaged in the sense of Levinas Integrative Theory clearly reaches further then Rosa and emphasizes that it sees the human being in a field of tension between nature and culture: Man moves – according to the integrative perspective – between his being tied to nature, on one hand, and his possibility to loosen this bond by the capacity of excentricity on the other hand. The ability to have excentricity holds the chance for culture, for being human, and at the same time, with a hyperexcentricity, it is bearing the danger of alienation.https://www.fpi-publikation.de/polyloge/22-2017-mogorovic-b-aktuelle-zeitstruktur-phaenomen-der-resonanz-ueberlegungen-hartmut-rosa/peerReviewedpublishedVersio

Lo (In)disponible.
Since the second half of the last century, intellectual productions in relation to the question of modern technification have been increasing; technique and the forms of social alienation have been the object of study of thinkers from the most diverse disciplines. One of the first figures to undertake this enterprise was Martin Heidegger, from hermeneutic phenomenology, while one of the most recent theorizations in this regard comes from the phenomenological critical sociology of Hartmut Rosa. In this paper, we will start from both of them to think about the problem of availability.

Hartmut Rosa, resonance and the sociology of the good life
In this episode, we are joined by Hartmut Rosa, one of today’s ‘big thinkers’ in sociology, to talk about his work on the concept of resonance and how it relates to inequalities. After becoming popular in Germany, his work is now gaining ground in anglophone sociology too. But what does resonance mean? What is a sociology of the good life? And how does resonance theory affect how we think about and understand social inequalities? By dealing with these questions, we discover blindspots of current inequality studies and explore directions for new research. Join us for this special episode with Hartmut Rosa to learn more about his social theory of resonance
