Development of Puter Ice Cream Maker Based on Appropriate Technology to Increase Small Business Productivity in Manggis Village: Pengembangan Alat Pembuat Es Krim Puter Berbasis Teknologi Tepat Guna untuk Meningkatkan Produktivitas Usaha Kecil di Desa Manggis
General Background: Appropriate technology plays a crucial role in supporting small-scale businesses, particularly in rural areas where access to electricity and advanced machinery is limited. Specific Background: Ice cream production often relies on electric-powered machines, which may not be feasible for micro-enterprises operating with minimal resources. Knowledge Gap: There is a lack of accessible, energy-independent tools that maintain product quality while meeting the operational needs of small food entrepreneurs. Aims: This study aims to develop a manually operated ice cream maker that is simple, cost-effective, and energy-efficient to support the productivity of small-scale businesses. Results: The research involved the design and fabrication of a hand-cranked ice cream maker, followed by performance testing based on production time and product quality. The results indicate that the device can produce ice cream within 15–20 minutes, yielding texture and taste comparable to commercially available ice cream. Novelty: The innovation lies in creating an efficient, electricity-free production tool tailored to the constraints of rural enterprises, thereby enabling consistent product output without reliance on external power sources. Implications: This tool offers a sustainable solution for small business owners by reducing production costs, increasing operational flexibility, and supporting local economic development. It demonstrates how appropriate technology can serve as a catalyst for entrepreneurship in underserved areas, with the potential for wider application in the food processing sector.

Literary works function as a forum where authors can express their thoughts, beliefs and experiences directly, as well as their imaginations. The language used by the author has a special meaning. Language that contains interesting signs must be examined semantically. According to Charles Sander Pierce Semiotics is the study of signs which have three aspects, namely, icons, indices and symbols. The novel Breath of Love for Prayer Experts by Wahyu Sujani tells the story of the love journey of a Muslim named Fikri. The problems of this research are (1) What is the semiotic aspect of the icon contained in the novel Napas Cinta Para Ahli Doa by Wahyu Sujani?, (2) What is the semiotic aspect of the index contained in the novel Napas Cinta Para Ahli Doa by Wahyu Sujani?, (3) How is it semiotic aspects of symbols contained in the novel Napas Cinta Para Ahli Doa by Wahyu Sujani?. The aim of this research is to find out, analyze and interpret icon, index and symbol data in the novel Napas Cinta Para Ahli Doa by Wahyu Sujani. This research uses a qualitative approach. The research method uses descriptive methods. The data collection technique used is the hermeneutic technique. The data analysis technique is content analysis. The data validity technique uses triangulation techniques. The theory used is the theory of Sobur (2020), Hoed (2014), Pradopo (2019),. The results of this research are the icons of the entire novel Napas Cinta Para Ahli Doa by Wahyu Sujani, consisting of 14 pieces of data. The index for the entire novel Napas Cinta Para Ahli Doa by Wahyu Sujani is 9 data. The symbols for the entire novel Napas Cinta Para Ahli Doa by Wahyu Sujani are 19 data. The results of this research are that the author found icons, indexes and symbols. The most dominant aspect in this novel is symbols. The reason this aspect is more dominant is because symbols are related to culture. Novels are usually based on the author's experiences in interacting with society

Results: The device was designed and fabricated based on principles of simplicity, cost-efficiency, and manual operation. Performance testing revealed that the tool could produce ice cream within 15–20 minutes, delivering a product with taste and texture comparable to commercial ice cream. APLIKASI PENCARIAN RESEP MASAKAN KHAS BENGKULU MENGGUNAKAN ALGORITMA BINARY SEARCH BERBASIS ANDROID
Cooking is an activity that can be done by anyone. By cooking, someone can serve a variety of dishes on the dining table. Ingredients, spices and how to process food ingredients in making a dish can be seen in the recipe. Cooking Recipes are a guide for someone in processing food ingredients into dishes that can be served. The use of Android-based devices has increased very rapidly from year to year. One example is an application in the culinary field. Android device users can get a typical Bengkulu recipe application. Searching is a job that we often do in everyday life. One method that is efficient is the binary search method. Binary search can be done on a sequence of numbers that have been sorted, either ascending or descending. Based on the summary above, the author is interested in applying the binary search method to the Android-based search application for Typical Bengkulu Cooking Recipes, which aims to help and make things easier for users who need typical Bengkulu cooking recipes. Based on system testing with User Statisfaction Testing, it shows a value of 4.14 for the display variable, 4.2 for the user convenience variable value and 4.13 for the system performance variable value with these values it can be concluded that the overall result is "Good"
Pengujian Black Box pada Aplikasi Daftar Peserta Vaksinasi COVID-19 Berbasis Situs Web dengan Metode Equivalence Partitions
Making an application has many stages and processes, after the application has been formed it is necessary to have a series of tests on the application to ensure that whether the application can run well or not. If an application does not go through the testing stage, it will be difficult to know how the quality of the application is and it will not be known whether there are obstacles or not when the user uses it. In the COVID-19 Vaccination Participant List application, if this problem occurs, the admin will find it difficult to enter participant data and also Health Facilities and this may result in incorrect data input. To solve this problem, the author will test using the black box testing method. Black box testing or better known to many people through the term functional testing and is a software testing method used to test software where the tester does not know or does not know the internal structure of the application code or program. In a series of tests that are applied to the program the tester knows what the program must do, but the tester does not have knowledge of how the program fulfills the commands that have been given. From the data from the website testing, the COVID-19 Vaccination Participant List Website is ready to be recommended and run for the sake of recording COVID-19 vaccination participants in Indonesia.Pembuatan aplikasi memiliki banyak tahapan dan proses, setelah aplikasi selesai dibentuk perlu adanya serangkaian pengujian terhadap aplikasi tersebut agar dapat dipastikan bahwa apakah aplikasi tersebut dapat berjalan dengan baik atau tidak. Jika suatu aplikasi tidak melalui tahap pengujian maka akan sulit mengetahui bagaimana kualitas aplikasi tersebut dan tidak akan diketahui adanya kendala atau tidak di saat pengguna menggunakan. Pada aplikasi Daftar Peserta Vaksinasi COVID-19 apabila terjadi masalah tersebut admin akan kesulitan untuk memasukan data-data peserta dan juga Faskes dan bisa jadi berdampak salah penginputan data. Untuk menyelesaikan masalah tersebut penulis akan melalukan pengujian menggunakan metode black box testing. Black box testing atau yang lebih dikenali banyak orang melalui istilah pengetesan fungsional dan merupakan sebuah metode pengujian pada perangkat lunak yang dipergunakan untuk menguji suatu perangkat lunak yang dimana sang penguji tidak atau tanpa mengetahui struktur internal kode aplikasi atau program tersebut. Dalam serangkaian pengujian yang diberlakukan pada program tester mengetahui apa saja yang harus dikerjakan oleh program akan tetapi penguji tidak memiliki pengetahuan mengenai bagaimana program tesebut memenuhi perintah-perintah yang telah diberikan. <p>Experimental investigation on the effect of dry and multi-jet cryogenic cooling on the machinability and hole accuracy of CFRP composites & nbsp;</p>
In this work, the drilling performance of carbon fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP) composites is analysed in terms of thrust force (F-n), torque (M-z), specific cutting energy (SCE), delamination factor (F-d), and hole quality under dry and cryogenic cooling conditions. An in-house developed multi-jet liquid nitrogen (LN2) delivery setup is used for experimental trials. This LN2 delivery system is retrofitted to an existing machine tool to enable the movement of jets along the axis of the spindle for better reachability of LN2 to the cutting zone during the drilling operation. Experiments are conducted using the full factorial technique considering four levels of spindle rotational speed (N), four levels of feed rate (f(r)), and two cutting conditions i.e., dry and cryogenic cooling. Results show increased F-n up to 35% and decreased M-z up to 24.46% using cryogenic drilling as compared to dry drilling. Moreover, SCE is reduced up to 35% using cryogenic drilling than in dry drilling. Entry F-d is decreased up to 21.55% under cryogenic drilling as compared to dry drilling. At higher N input and lower f(r), the exit F-d can be reduced by up to 9% using cryogenic drilling as compared with dry drilling. In terms of hole quality, cylindricity (CYL) decreased by up to 42.69%, lower deviation in average hole size, and decreased average surface roughness (R-a) up to 20% when using cryogenic drilling. The results show that using the multi-jet cryogenic cooling system provides enhanced composite machinability and sustainability for industrial use. (C)& nbsp;2022 The Author(s).
