Hamon 10x100 MΩ resistor based traceable source for calibration of picoammeters in the range 100 pA ÷ 100 nA
No full textThis paper describes a measurement method developed at National Institute of metrological Research (INRIM) to calibrate picoammeters in dc current from 100 pA to 100 nA. The current source is based on a traceable to the dc resistance national standard 10 x 100 M Omega Hamon resistor developed at INRIM and on a traceable to the dc voltage national standard high precision dc voltage calibrator. The expanded uncertainties of the method for the calibration of picoammeters span from 9.4 x 10(-4) for the gain of a picoammeter at 100 pA to 4.0 x 10(-4) for the gain at 100 nA. A detailed uncertainties budget at 10 nA level and the results of a comparison with a different technique are also reported

Variations on the Author
No full text“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

No full textIn questo articolo ci proponiamo di osservare in che modo i meme internet veicolano un discorso d’odio e diffamatorio nei riguardi di Greta Thunberg, attivista ecologista svedese che, nel 2018, ha fondato il movimento Fridays for Future con lo scopo di promuovere lo sviluppo sostenibile e estendere la conoscenza sui fenomeni ambientali in atto. L’obiettivo della ricerca è verificare se le strategie enunciative e argomentative attuate dai detrattori della giovane militante attraverso i meme permettono di costruire un vero e proprio controdiscorso ecologista, o se – più semplicemente – si limitano a mettere in discussione la sua autorità, fondata su posizioni essenzialmente polemiche e denigratorie
