    Bahasa memiliki peran penting dalam komunikasi untuk menyampaikan informasi antarindividu yang umumnya komunikasi dilakukan secara verbal. Namun, tidak semua orang dapat melakukannya karena keterbatasan fisik, seperti gangguan pendengaran atau bicara. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan agar membantu komunikasi antara individu dengan keterbatasan fisik dan mereka yang tidak memiliki keterbatasan. Maka dari itu, penelitian ini merancang sistem pendeteksi bahasa isyarat dengan memanfaatkan Supervised Learning menggunakan model Machine Learning dan library React JS. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menerapkan sistem deteksi bahasa isyarat serta menganalisis persepsi pengguna terhadap sistem yang telah dikembangkan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE. Sampel penelitian melibatkan siswa kelas 1 sampai 6 di SLBN Purwakarta. Pengujian sistem dilakukan dengan black box testing dan kuisioner. Hasil dari penelitian ini, sistem mampu mendeteksi 15 gestur BISINDO dan didapatkan tingkat akurasi dari model yang dibuat 93,8%. Analisis persepsi pengguna menunjukkan persentase sebesar 80,5% apabila berdasarkan kategori penilaian sebagian besar responden memberikan tanggapan positif. ----- Language plays an important role in communication to convey information between individuals, where communication is generally carried out verbally. However, not everyone can do so due to physical limitations, such as hearing or speech impairments. This research is intended to assist communication between individuals with physical limitations and those without. Therefore, this research designs a sign language detection system utilizing Supervised Learning, using Machine Learning models and the React JS library. The purpose of this research is to implement a sign language detection system and analyze user perceptions of the developed system. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model. The research sample involved students from grades 1 to 6 at SLBN Purwakarta. System testing was carried out using black box testing and questionnaires. The results of this research show that the system can detect 15 BISINDO gestures, and the model achieved an accuracy rate of 93.8%. User perception analysis showed a percentage of 80.5%, indicating that the majority of respondents gave positive feedback based on the evaluation criteria

    Generic injectivity of the Prym map for double ramified coverings

    In this paper we consider the Prym map for double coverings of curves of genus gg ramified at r>0r>0 points. That is, the map associating to a double ramified covering its Prym variety. The generic Torelli theorem states that the Prym map is generically injective as soon as the dimension of the space of coverings is less or equal to the dimension of the space of polarized abelian varieties. We prove the generic injectivity of the Prym map in the cases of double coverings of curves with: (a) g=2,r=6g=2, r=6, and (b) g=5,r=2g=5, r=2. In the first case the proof is constructive and can be extended to the range rmax{6,23(g+2)}r \geq \max \left\{6, \frac{2}{3}(g+2)\right\}. For (b) we study the fibre along the locus of the intermediate Jacobians of cubic threefolds to conclude the generic injectivity. This completes the work of Marcucci and Pirola who proved this theorem for all the other cases, except for the bielliptic case g=1g=1 (solved later by Marcucci and the first author), and the case g=3,r=4g=3, r=4 considered previously by Nagaraj and Ramanan, and also by Bardelli, Ciliberto and Verra where the degree of the map is 3 . The paper closes with an appendix by Alessandro Verra with an independent result, the rationality of the moduli space of coverings with g=2,r=6g=2, r=6, whose proof is self-contained

    Achieving regulatory efficiency: a study of the Greek telecommunications authority

    PhDThis thesis is an original examination of the structural characteristics that render an administrative agency, entrusted with the regulation of the telecommunications sector, ‘efficient’ or ‘better’ in the sense of the quality of its processes and decisions it makes or, in other words, what constitutes ‘good governance’. The author analyses the principles of good governance, since those principles affect the functioning of the regulator, the market and the regulatees’ rights, and discusses criteria which may be employed to measure each of the principles and hence good governance itself. Among those principles, regulatory independence and accountability are recognised as the cornerstones upon which ‘good regulation’ can be built. Firstly because accountability may be considered as a key principle of good governance, since, apart from its importance on its own, it is either strongly related to some of the pre-referred principles of good governance, such as transparency, or it is the tool to achieve the observance of other principles such as proportionality, consistency and predictability, effectiveness and due process. Secondly, independence is the cornerstone upon which stability, credibility, legal certainty, due process in the sense of the use of certain fair procedures such as participation, consultation and openness, economic efficiency, and transparency could be built. Without an independent regulator the possibilities for the development of the above notions are limited. The two principles of good governance are further analysed in the thesis and their importance is demonstrated through the examination of a case study, the Greek national regulatory authority responsible for the regulation of the telecommunications sector. Through this case study it is demonstrated that the respect of a regulatee’s rights, the observance of the other principles of good governance and the good regulation of the market, mostly depend on the degree of independence and accountability of a regulatory body. The author argues that shortfalls of regulatory independence and accountability undermine regulatory performance and eventually good regulation. In this regard, the functioning of a regulatory body could be significantly improved, if reforms at European level are implemented, through the establishment of a single, pan-European regulatory authority and through more detailed regulatory measures at an EU level, and/ more regulations that do not require transposition. In short, the aim of this thesis is to illustrate the critical role that regulatory independence and accountability play in achieving good governance in the telecommunications sector and indeed in other regulated sectors - such as energy and postal sectors, where a regulator is called to be efficient - as well as to discern policy lessons and to recommend legal measures designed to ensure more efficient regulators. Such lessons are seen as having particular relevance for new Member States of the European Union, such as Romania and Bulgaria, as well as for prospective accession states that may have broader applicability in new Member States and acceding countries. All these core issues are examined as up to December 2007

    The singularities and birational geometry of the universal compactified Jacobian

    In this paper we establish that the singularities of the universal compactified Jacobian are canonical if the genus is at least four. As a corollary we determine the Kodaira dimension and the Iitaka fibration of the universal compactified Jacobian for every degree and genus. We also determine the birational automorphism group for every degree if the genus is at least twelve. This extends work of G. Farkas and A. Verra, as well as that of G. Bini, C. Fontanari and the third author

    Abstrak: Pada era globalisasi zaman sekarang, teknologi merupakan hal yang sangat penting bagi manusia termasuk dalam penjualan dan pembelian jasa desain atau cetak. Trisindo Printing Dadap Jati adalah salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang percetakan. Namun proses sistem yang berjalan masih dilakukan secara manual dan tidak terkomputerisasi. Hal ini membuat proses penjualan, transaksi dan pembuatan laporan dalam perusahaan menjadi kurang efektif dan memaka banyak waktu. Selain itu, penjualan perusahaan juga hanya bisa menjangkau pelanggan dari daerah sekitarnya dan teknik pemasarannya pun masih menggunakan media cetak seperti stiker, spanduk, dan lain-lain. Oleh karena itu penulis memberikan sebuah rancangan sistem informasi penjualan desain dan cetak berbasis web pada Trisindo Printing Dadap Jati supaya perusahaan dapat dengan mudah menjalankan sistem kerja dalam setiap bagian terutama penjualan dan pemasaran. Pembuatan sistem informasi berbasis web ini tentu lebih baik dari sistem informasi yang dijalankan secara manual karena lebih efektif dan efisien. Metode yang digunakan dalam perancangan ini adalah metode waterfall, dimana perancangan ini dibuat berdasarkan keinginan dan kebutuhan perusahaan. Dengan adanya sistem ini diharapkan proses penjualan dan pemasaran dalam perusahaan dapat bekerja secara efektif, efisien dan maksimal. Abstract: In today's era of globalization, technology is very important for humans, including in the sale and purchase of design or printing services. Trisindo Printing Dadap Jati is one of the companies engaged in printing. However, the running system process is still done manually and not computerized. This makes the sales, transaction and reporting processes within the company less effective and time-consuming. In addition, the company's sales can only reach customers from the surrounding area and its marketing techniques still use print media such as stickers, banners, and others. Therefore, the author provides a web-based design and print sales information system design at Trisindo Printing Dadap Jati so that companies can easily run work systems in each section, especially sales and marketing. Creating a web-based information system is certainly better than manually running information systems because it is more effective and efficient. The method used in this design is the waterfall method, where this design is made based on the wishes and needs of the company. With this system, it is expected that the sales and marketing processes within the company can work effectively, efficiently and maximally

The Band Stop Filter, also often referred to as the Notch Filter, is a combination of a Low Pass Filter and a High Pass Filter connected in parallel. This connection differs from the Band Pass Filter, which connects the Low Pass Filter and High Pass Filter in series. This study aims to discuss the simulation of the Sallen-key notch filter Circuit. The author also conducts real simulations to prove the Circuit by changing or adjusting the value of the components installed in the Circuit so that the frequency response is according to the target. The purpose and role of the Sallen-key notch filter and the working principle of the theory of each filter used. The research method used in the research work is to carry out virtual simulations using virtual simulators and live simulation

Penyusunan Op-Amp disusun dalam sebuah rangkaian yang terintegrasi atau biasa disebut dengan Integrated Circuit (IC). Ditulisnya analisis rangkaian komparator ini adalah untuk dapat mengetahui rangkaian komparator, menganalisis hasil rangkaian komparator pada simulasi Circuit Simulator Applet. Pada analisis ini terdapat dua metode yang digunakan yaitu pada komparator dan H-Bridge yang sama-sama menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan tegangan yang dihubungkan dengan komponen yang satu dengan lainnya untuk saling terhubung dan menghasilkan suatu output yang diinginkan. Pada penelitian ini menghasilkan komparator membandingkan jika masukkan positifnya lebih besar dari masukkan negatif dengan keluaran yang dihasilkan antara 11,86 sampai 1,145 Volt, Pada rangkaian H-Bridge menghasilkan jika nilai V1 dan V2 berbeda DC motor yang ada pada H-Bridge akan berputar dengan menyesuaikan nilai Vin yang tertera
