Characterization of the Dᵂ-Laguerre-Hahn functionals

Moreover, we show that some transformations carried out on the Dᵂ-Laguerre-Hahn linear functionals lead to new Dᵂ-Laguerre-Hahn linear functionals. Applying and Extending the Sustainable Value Method related to Agriculture – an Overview
No full textSustainable Value is a method to measure the contribution of an economic entity, such as a farm or the entire agricultural sector, towards the sustainability (sustainable development) of a region, a country or on a global scale. A positive sustainable value is created once resources are used more efficiently than by a benchmark. It shows the excess return that is created or lost by the use of economic, environmental and social resources by an economic entity relative to a benchmark. The purpose of this paper is to give an overview on the characteristics and requirements of the SV and to provide information on (a) possible applications and (b) extensions of the SV method related to the agricultural sector. A particular emphasis is put on the choice of sustainability indicators (resource figures, welfare figure) to be included, the generic steps of SV calculation, the meaning of weighting and aggregation in the SV, the role of the Return-to-Cost Ratio in taking farm size into consideration, and the interpretation and communication of the results of an agriculture-related SV assessment. Information seeking with Wikipedia on the iPod touch
No full textThe purpose of this paper is to present the results of a usability study which inquired into undergraduate student information seeking with Wikipedia on the iPod touch. Students characterize the overall nature of information searched for with the Wikipedia app to be for recreational and for short factual information. Recreational searching as a way in which undergraduate students utilize mobile technology is an earlier finding of Wikipedia iPod usage, and is verified as a trend of undergraduate student search using the iPod. All undergraduate student participants of the Wikipedia app on a mobile interface report this tool as helping to become more efficient in their research. Fungsional linier f merupakan pemetaan dari suatu ruang vektor X ke lapangan K, baik (R atau C) yang memenuhi dua sifat yakni aditivitas dan homogenitas. Adapun beberapa sifat lain dari fungsional linier, salah satunya yaitu sifat terbatas. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk membuktikan sifat fungsional linier terbatas menggunakan Teorema Hahn-Banach. Teorema Hahn-Banach merupakan teorema yang membahas mengenai perluasan fungsional linier. Dengan demikian, hasil penelitian ini telah menunjukkan bahwa dengan Teorema Hahn-Banach setiap elemen x_0≠0 pada ruang bernorma dapat dihubungkan dengan suatu fungsional linier terbatas f ̃ yang memenuhi f ̃(x_0 )=1 dan ‖f ̃ ‖=‖x_0 ‖^(-1). Kemudian Fungsional linier yang didefinisikan dari fungsional riil dapat diperluas ke ruang vektor kompleks dengan struktur f ̃(x)=f ̃_1 (x)-if ̃_1 (ix) dan terbukti memenuhi f ̃(ix)=if ̃(x). Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat bermanfaat dan dapat menjadi referensi tambahan.
ENGLISH:
A linear functional f is a mapping from a vector space X to a field K, (R or C), that satisfies two properties, additivity and homogeneity. Among the various properties of linear functionals, one important property is boundedness. This research is to prove the boundedness property of linear functionals using the Hahn-Banach Theorem. The Hahn-Banach Theorem addresses the extension of linear functionals. Thus, the results of this research show that with the Hahn-Banach Theorem, every element x_0≠0 in a normed space can be associated with a bounded linear functional f ̃ such that f ̃(x_0 )=1 dan ‖f ̃ ‖=‖x_0 ‖^(-1). Furthermore, a linear functional defined on a real vector space can be extended to a complex vector space using the structure f ̃(x)=f ̃_1 (x)-if ̃_1 (ix), and it is proven that this extension satisfies f ̃(ix)=if ̃(x). This research is expected to be beneficial and serve as an additional reference.
