Awareness of Physiotherapy Interventions among Medical practitioners of Uttar Pradesh
ABSTRACT
Background: Physiotherapy is a kind of science which helps and supports the patient to live a healthy lifestyle. It plays a crucial role in rehabilitating a patient. Physiotherapy is defined as a health care profession dealing with human mobility and function maximizing quality on one’s life and movement strength within the loop of prevention, promotion, treatment/intervention, habilitation and rehabilitation. Still, there are people who aren’t aware about the kind of treatment it can provide. In order to make attempts to make people aware, it is necessary to evaluate the level of awareness among medical practitioners. Hereby, objective of this study is to find out how much aware the medical practitioners are in terms of importance and need of physiotherapy for the treatment of the patients.
Materials and Methods: Apparently, a cross sectional pilot study was carried out based purely on questionnaire method, prior to the data collection the content validation of the questionnaire was executed by online Delphi method. Questions wording and the order of the questions underwent review by experts in the field of physiotherapy. Valid and approved questionnaire was sent through Google form link for the data collection. All willing medical practitioners from different streams along with graduates and super specialists were included, whereas students and non internet users were excluded. Responses of each and every participant were analyzed and were represented in percentage, graph or pie charts.
Result: There is awareness regarding the term physiotherapy (98.4%), but specialization in physiotherapy is less known, maximum of the subjects were aware about specialization in orthopedics and specialization in women’s health, community based rehabilitation and dermatology is least known. It was found out that 79% of the medical practitioners have objection in physiotherapist having first contact with the patient. Moreover, only 67.7% of the participants agreed to let a physiotherapist decide the physiotherapy treatment protocol.
Conclusion: The study revealed that there is lack of awareness regarding assessment and treatment protocol provided by physiotherapy. However, doctors believe physiotherapist has big role in treating ICU and immobilized patients. There is less information regarding radiation modalities as well as recent advances in rehabilitation.

Understanding Social Media Users' Perceptions of Trigger and Content Warnings
The prevalence of distressing content on social media raises concerns about users' mental well-being, prompting the use of trigger warnings (TW) and content warnings (CW). However, varying practices across platforms indicate a lack of clarity among users regarding these warnings. To gain insight into how users experience and use these warnings, we conducted interviews with 15 regular social media users. Our findings show that users generally have a positive view of warnings, but there are differences in how they understand and use them. Challenges related to using TW/CW on social media emerged, making it a complex decision when dealing with such content. These challenges include determining which topics require warnings, navigating logistical complexities related to usage norms, and considering the impact of warnings on social media engagement. We also found that external factors, such as how the warning and content are presented, and internal factors, such as the viewer's mindset, tolerance, and level of interest, play a significant role in the user's decision-making process when interacting with content that has TW/CW. Participants emphasized the need for better education on warnings and triggers in social media and offered suggestions for improving warning systems. They also recommended post-trigger support measures. The implications and future directions include promoting author accountability, introducing nudges and interventions, and improving post-trigger support to create a more trauma-informed social media environment.Master of ScienceIn today's world of social media, you often come across distressing content that can affect your mental well-being. To address this concern, platforms and content authors use something called trigger warnings (TW) and content warnings (CW) to alert users about potentially upsetting content. However, different platforms have different ways of using these warnings, which can be confusing for users.
To better understand how people like you experience and use these warnings, we conducted interviews with 15 regular social media users. What we found is that, in general, users have a positive view of these warnings, but there are variations in how they understand and use them.
Using TW/CW on social media can be challenging because it involves deciding which topics should have warnings, dealing with the different rules on each platform, and thinking about how warnings affect people's engagement with content.
We also discovered that various factors influence how people decide whether to engage with warned content. These factors include how the warning and content are presented and the person's own mindset, tolerance for certain topics, and level of interest.
Our study participants highlighted the need for better education about warnings and triggers on social media. They also had suggestions for improving how these warnings are used and recommended providing support to users after they encounter distressing content.
Looking ahead, our findings suggest the importance of holding content creators accountable, introducing helpful tools and strategies, and providing better support to make social media a more empathetic and supportive place for all users
ESG Costing and Financial Decision-Making
Over the past two decades, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) considerations have transformed global financial markets, corporate governance practices, and investment decision-making processes. ESG principles, once viewed as ethical or reputational concerns, are now widely integrated into corporate strategy, regulatory frameworks, and capital allocation decisions across developed and emerging economies.
Institutional investors, including pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, and asset managers, increasingly incorporate ESG metrics into portfolio construction, risk assessment, and long-term valuation models. Simultaneously, corporations are committing substantial financial resources toward environmental sustainability initiatives, regulatory compliance, carbon reduction strategies, and ESG disclosure practices. These shifts are driven by regulatory pressure, investor expectations, climate-related risks, and evolving societal norms.
Despite the rapid institutionalization of ESG, a fundamental tension persists within financial economics: does ESG create financial value, or does it impose measurable costs on firms and investors? While ESG adoption is often promoted as a mechanism for risk mitigation and long-term value creation, critics argue that ESG compliance represents an additional cost burden that may negatively affect short-term profitability, capital efficiency, and shareholder returns.
This unresolved debate forms the central motivation of the present research
Identification of Human microRNAs Regulating Skeletal Muscle Regeneration In Patients with Sustained Intensive Care Unit Acquired Weakness
Intensive care unit acquired weakness (ICUAW) is a complication of critical illness characterized by skeletal muscle wasting and impaired contractile function. Dysregulated gene co-expression networks controlling muscle repair/regeneration are present in patients with persistent muscle wasting. MicroRNAs (miRs) regulate gene expression at the post-transcriptional level by affecting the translation/degradation of mRNAs. Thus, we sought to identify miRs regulating the failure of muscle regeneration in patients with sustained ICUAW. We performed an integrated miR/mRNA analysis of quadriceps biopsies from patients with early/sustained ICUAW to identify dysregulated expression of miRs and their gene targets that regulate skeletal muscle myogenesis. We found miRs-490-3p and -744-5p to negatively regulate proliferation and differentiation respectively in human skeletal muscle myoblasts in vitro. We identified genes with significant roles in skeletal muscle repair/regeneration as potential mediators of miR-490-3p’s anti-myogenic activity. In addition, we identified novel miRs-3175 and -4739 as potential regulators of myoblast proliferation/differentiation in vitro.M.Sc
