Genus Lonchopterites Grimaldi and Cumming Lonchopterites Grimaldi and Cumming, 1999: 82. Type species: L. prisca Grimaldi and Cumming, 1999 (Lebanese amber). DIAGNOSIS: (slightly revised, in italics): Antenna with aristal base situated terminally (L. prisca Grimaldi and Cumming) or slightly dorsally (L. burmensis, n. sp.); arista 2-articled, basal one minute, ringlike. Head with large pair of reclinate interfrontals; large pair of lateroclinate fronto-orbitals; ocellar setae large, inside (L. prisca) or outside of triangle (L. burmensis, n. sp.). Wing apex faintly pointed; vein C with large spinules; R 4+5 ending at tip of wing; R 2+3 and R 4+5 divergent at base of wing; M 1 and M 2 diverge near middle of wing; crossveins r-m and dm-cu lacking; anal lobe present, but small; anal vein short, incomplete. The genus is defined largely on the basis of features that are symplesiomorphic for the Lonchopteroidea. TYPE SPECIES: L. prisca Grimaldi and Cumming. John Grimaldi Oral History Interview
This is an oral history interview with John Grimaldi, a third generation resident of Ybor City. Grimaldi\u27s grandfather came to Tampa from Naples, Italy around 1900 and worked as a steamship agent before becoming one of the founding members of the Bank of Ybor City. Grimaldi recounts some of his parents\u27 and grandparents\u27 experiences and then describes his own memories from his childhood in Ybor City. He also discusses urban renewal and its effects

EUCAUDOMYIIDAE, NEW FAMILY TYPE GENUS: Eucaudomyia, new genus. Monotypic. In Burmese amber. DIAGNOSIS: Head small relative to thorax, spherical, eyes occupying anterior three-quarters of head; antenna small, with single postpedicel article, situated frontally (not dorsally or ventrally); body short, very broad (especially thorax), scutellum very small. Wing with highly reduced venation (Rs simple, M vestigial, unbranched) all longitudinal veins apically evanescent; anal lobe highly reduced; tibiae without apical spurs, empodium padlike. Female terminalia developed into long, slender, jackknifed oviscapt comprised of tubular segments VII and VIII, and long, slender, valvelike cerci and hypoproct. Hennigophora pria Grimaldi 2018
Hennigophora pria (Grimaldi and Cumming), new combination Figures 18, 46C, 47A Archiphora pria Grimaldi and Cumming, 1999: 97. SUMMARY: The original (holotype) specimen of H. pria is covered with a milky coating that obscures many surface details, critically the acrostichals, as well as the presence/absence of a median furrow on the frons, and terminalia, though portions of larger macrosetae protrude through the coating. A new specimen in New Jersey amber, AMNH NJ-Ch1, has some critical features that are better preserved, but this specimen lost the left side of the head and thorax before or during fossilization, and the abdomen has a thin milky coating. A few acrostichals can be seen in left profile, which appear to be in one (or possibly several) rows and are significantly smaller than those in H. robusta (whose acrostichals are about as large as the flanking dorsocentrals; fig. 19). Male genitalic structure cannot be compared to H. robusta since this specimen is female. Most importantly, the stridulatum is present in AMNH NJ-Ch1, with a scraper very visible on the mesal surface of the right profemur, and a file on the lateral surface of the left procoxa. The location, arc, and length of the stridulatum are just as in living sciadocerines, but the number and structure of ridges and teeth are not visible. A stridulatum was also observed in H. robusta based on a file on the right procoxa of a male specimen, AMNH Ba-JH58 (fig. 19) (this specimen also lacks a median furrow on the frons). Hennigophora pria is similar to H. robusta in venation (proportions and lengths of main veins, a tubular stem of M; fig. 47A, B), setation of legs; and a broad frons (judging from the preserved right half in AMNH NJ-Ch1). It differs from H. robutsa by having a pair of reclinate interfrontals, near the frontal margin of the frons (vs. absent); also, setae are shorter, especially the acrostichals, supraalars, postalars, and scutellars. Zigrasimecia Barden And Grimaldi, new genus Diagnosis, gyne: Based on unique dealate specimen. Similar to Sphecomyrmodes based on structure of the mandible (with only two large teeth: one apical, one subapical); ocelli large, scape very short (slightly less than twice the length of pedicel), 12 antennomeres, eyes relatively small, and clypeal margin with row of peg-like denticles. Differs from Sphecomyrmodes by the flattened, broad head with irregular posterodorsal margin; very broad, concave clypeal margin with many more (ca. 30) denticles, plus two shorter rows of denticles ventrally; mandibles about half the length, with dense brush of spicule-like setae on oral surface; setae-coated labrum; presence of raised toruli and shallow lateral antennal scrobes; vertex of head with pair of oval, melanized, rugose patches. Type species. Z. tonsora, new species. Etymology. Patronym, for Mr. James Zigras, and –mecia, a common suffix for ant genera.
