Lo stile di Rossano. Culture grafiche tra metropoli e periferia
Manuscripts Venice, Biblioteca Nazionale Marciana, gr. Z.101 (coll. 428) and Oxford, Bodleian Library, Auct. T.2.2 were completed respectively in 1065 and 1067 in the monastery of the Theotokos Evergetis in Constantinople by the monk and presbyter Gregory. The handwriting of Gregory, as well as that of his brother Gerasimos, can be usefully compared with the so-called style of Rossano, which flourished in the monastery of Saint Mary New Odigitria, even known as Patir, between the end of the 11st century and the beginning of the 12nd, especially with the handwriting of the monk Bartholomeus. This palaeographical affinity urges to reconsider the problem of the style of Rossano’s origin
Pietro Rossano in URSS (1975) e l’Ostpolitik vaticana
The paper deals with the travel that mgr Piero Rossano, at that time secretary for the Secretariat for non Christians, did in Soviet Union in 1975 with fr. Chiavacci, senator Gozzini, his wife Vilma and an Italian writer, Gino Montesanto. In Montesanto’s archive the author found new information about this travel and about the meetings that Rossano had in Moscow, Zagorsk, Vilnius, Kaunas, Riga and Jurmala. The Italian delegation met representatives of the Moscow Patriarchate, of the Soviet regime, but, above all, met some leaders of the persecuted Catholic Church. The trip must be considered as an important piece of the Catholic Ostpolitik: a pastoral activity that included negotiations with hostile Governments, ecumenical meetings, and brotherly support to Catholic bishops beyond the Iron Curtain
«MUSA, CHE ’N ROZZO STIL...»: IL LABORATORIO DELLE RIME
The essay focuses on some portions of the huge corpus of Torquato Tasso’s rime, mainly underlining their relationship with the poet’s biography, as explained through several of them, and reflecting on the composition of his three-part volume of rime (love poems, celebratory poems, sacred poems) and the strategic functions and rhetorical means that the Author uses to mark the unity of his collection of lyric poems as conceived and partially published under his supervision during the last years of his life
«le lodi degli iddii e degli eroi». L’elogio sublime delle eroine nella sezione d’apertura della «Seconda parte» delle rime tassiane.
The essay deals with “Part Two” of Tasso’s lyric poems as published by the poet himself in 1593. Following a previous introductory essay on the same subject by the same author, the paper focuses on the first section of poems in the book, stressing the thematic and stylistic strategies chosen by Tasso to produce a sequence of poems in praise of distinguished noblewomen of his time whose names recall those of several figures from ancient mythology whom the poet connects them to in his praise

This research‟s objective was the historical reconstruction of a nature trail, since the launch of the first ideas, your initial steps, its implementation, its difficulties, its success and even its abandonment. The track was a project undertaken by the Department of the Environment of the City of Porto Alegre (SMAM) Zonal the South, headed by a forestry engineer Suzane Marcuzzo Bevilacqua, under the supervision of trainee Rossano Irigaray Fritzen, throughout the year 2002. The area of work was located in an urban forest fragment in the municipality of Porto Alegre. The approach consisted of analyzing historical narrative, using resources such as maps, photographs, interviews and memories recorded in recorded and transcribed interviews with participants, among which is the author of the thesis, since played a leading role in the events investigated. Thus, the creation, development and decommissioning of the Canary Ecological Trail were reconstructed, showing that this was a successful experiment, which its creators had in common passion for environmental education in this project and found a way to put into practice their knowledge and theoretical concepts on the subject, joining efforts by the public, third sector and local community. From the beginning the trail presented, in practice, new approaches to classical topics of the teaching of biology and in particular issues related to the Environmental Education, in order to awaken the comunity as a critical sense the position of the human face of their abuses with environment, which is also part
Nephrotic syndrome and autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease
BackgroundAutosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD) is an inherited disorder characterized by the development and growth of cysts in the kidneys and other organs. In ADPKD patients, nephrotic range proteinuria is unusual and needs to be investigated further to exclude coexisting glomerular disease. Among the anecdotal case reports of ADPKD associated with nephrotic syndrome, focal segmental glomerulosclerosis occurs most frequently.MethodsWe report the case of a 26-year-old male with ADPKD and concomitant nephrotic syndrome, in which an ultrasound (US)-guided renal biopsy showed a mesangioproliferative glomerulonephritis. We treated the patient with prednisone 1 mg/kg/day, because of the failure of treatment with angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor/angiotensin receptor blocker association.ResultsAfter 6 months of steroid treatment, we observed a stability of his GFR and a reduction of proteinuria.ConclusionThis case report and other cases of the literature underline the importance of a renal biopsy in patients with ADPKD and nephrotic syndrome in order to make an accurate diagnosis and an appropriate treatment/prevention of renal function deterioration. © 2012 The Author
The available pastor
