Langer-Giedion Syndrome (LGS) and Cornelia de Lange Syndrome (CdLS) are two rare congenital syndromes, caused by a chromosomal abnormality, which can cause comorbidity. Both syndromes are characterized by skeletal abnormalities, growth retardation, distinctive and specific facial features and intellectual disabilities of varying degrees of severity. A literature review is presented, since 2010 to 2015, on both syndromes and comorbidity, together with the analysis of 33 articles, in order to determine the status of the current literature. Final results show that the majority of the publications about these syndromes belongs to the field of Medicine and Genetics at the expense of other areas such as Neuroscience, Psychology and Social Sciences. It is also clear from this study that publications on LGS focus on the description of the genotype, phenotype and associated physical illnesses, however, CdLS also describe aspects of the behavioral phenotype
