Swinburne University of Technology's fourth Chancellor, Graham Goldsmith, has been installed in a ceremony presided over by the Governor of Victoria, the Honourable Alex Chernov AC QC. Mr Goldsmith was appointed as the Chancellor in August 2014, having served on the Council of Swinburne since 2010. Among other qualifications, Mr Goldsmith was educated at Swinburne Institute of Technology, as it then was, and graduated with a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) in 1983.
