EFFECTS OF ADDING PET FLAKES TO CONCRETE BLOCKS
Abstract: Plastic, being one of the common material in our daily activities and we couldn't imagine a day without it. plastic contributes to major pollution as it involves many components like PELD,PELLD,PEHD,PP, ,PET and many other .major plastic pollution is due to single use plastic which is either trashed or crushed . Single use plastic involves many kinds of polymers out of which PET (Polyethylene terephthalate) is major with an average of 6.8% of total plastic pollution. This study involves determining the mechanical properties of concrete blocks added with PET flakes. It was observed that an optimum cracking and crushing strength of 7.2Mpa and 7.78 Mpa respectively at a proportion of 1:4(plastic: cement). An optimum flexural strength of 2.1 MPa was observed at a proportion of 1:2 ( plastic: cement) and it was observed that the dry density of pet flakes added concrete blocks decreases as the weight of the plastic added to the block increases .

Development of Report and Sales/Inventory/Purchasing Data Mart
Project Definition: To develop reports that will empower the costumers of GLOBEX XBoard Company, enable all business groups to make better and faster decisions by supplying all XBoard Business Groups with consistent, accurate, timely and complete transactional business intelligence information and help them in making correct analysis for their sales. Project Scope: i. Informatica Power Center based data extraction, transformation, and loading process. ii. Data extracted from source systems are aggregated into an Oracle RDBMS based Data Mart , a central repository that connects data from disparate source systems allowing a way that will allow it to be used on an aggregate basis. iii. 111. Aggregated and connected data from the Data Mart will be made available to business users through a Business Objects reporting application that allows for predefined and dynamic accessing of stored data. Significance of the Problems: GLOBEX XBoard Company is the direct sales portal to end-user customers through channels such as the Internet, contact centers, and retail stores. Properly managing all aspects of this diverse business is exciting, challenging and data intensive. Operating in an environment where annual transactions number in the hundreds of thousands requires XBoard to be a data-driven organization. Being data-driven requires the availability of large quantities of accurate data and the ability for extensive data analysis. Given the current systems and business environment, data must be gathered from a large number of disparate sources and manually assembled into reports. Solution: CLEARVU project is launched to create a world-class reporting environment that will enable business groups to make better and faster decisions by supplying all XBoard business groups with consistent, accurate, timely and complete transactional business intelligence information

Effect of Lead in Elastomeric Bearings for Structures Located in Seismic Region
AbstractSeismic base isolation is one of the most commonly implemented and established earthquake protection systems. Seismic base isolation is a technique that mitigates the effects of an earthquake by essentially isolating the structure and its contents from potentially severe ground motion, especially in the frequency range where the building is most affected. Having designed seismic isolation system, the next step was to explore the fabrication of Laminated Lead Rubber Bearings (LLRB). It should be affordable and suitable for high seismic zones. Because isolators are subject to extreme deformations and loads during major earthquakes, most design codes require they be tested to demonstrate conformance with design expectations. At some point in time isolator devices may be required to be removed and replaced. One reason for this may be that the isolators get damaged during a severe earthquake. Testing can be performed to verify design properties of the isolation system over a time period. Regardless of the reasoning, isolators must be able to be accessed and removed. There may be significant time and costs associated with a structure whose isolation system is not readily and easily accessible. Multiobjective optimal power flow solutions using nondominated sorting colliding bodies optimization
Abstract In the current work, an innovative nondominated sorting colliding bodies optimization (NSCBO) technique is introduced to tackle multiobjective optimal power flow (MOOPF) challenges within electrical power networks. This method offers a means to generate a diverse array of nondominated solutions in a single iteration by including the nondominated (ND) sorting process and the concept of crowding distance. Additionally, it utilizes a spread indicator to archive the latest nondominated solutions. In the NSCBO method, the mass of each colliding body is determined by its nondominated rank rather than relying on objective function information. Moreover, a fuzzy decision-making strategy is employed to identify a suitable solution from the set of ND solutions. To showcase the scalability and viability of the NSCBO method, experiments are conducted on IEEE 30-bus, considering both bi- and tri-objective models. Comparative analysis with existing methods from recent literature demonstrates the efficacy of the NSCBO technique in handling constraints and deriving nondominated solutions for MOOPF problems
