Ein fragmentarisches Grabepigramm (GVI 1867) aus Werner Peeks Antikensammlung im Archäologischen Museum der Universität Münster
This paper aims to examine a metrical inscription from Hermione (Argolis) containing a dialogic funerary epigram in elegiac couplets, found by Werner Peek and published among the Griechische Vers-Inschriften (no. 1867), which is currently stored at the Archaeological Museum of the University of Münster. An overview of the status quaestionis and new suggestions concerning the heavily damaged text will be discussed, as well as a reconsideration of the attribution of the verses to each of the two speakers (the deceased and a passer-by)
