Five carbon- and nitrogen-bearing species in a hot giant planet atmosphere
by Giacobbe et al. (2021), Nature, DOI: 10.1038/s41586-021-03381-x.
The run_radeq/ folder contains the HD209458b atmospheric models computed under the assumption of radiative and thermochemical equilibrium with the pyratbay code, as described in the methods section of Giacobbe et al. (2021).
The file names indicate the adopted elemental metallicity and C/O abundance ratios, e.g., the "HD209458b_radeq_000.001x-solar_CO-0.10.atm" file corresponds to a metallicity of 0.001 times solar and a C/O ratio of 0.1.
The Python script "fig_radeq_atmospheres.py" reproduces the extended data figures showing the radiative-equilibrium atmospheric models of Giacobbe et al. (2021), which are also provided in the plots/ folder

dell’ultimo regno, mettendo in primo piano il senso della predestinazione
voluta da Dio. Il ricorso alla storia di Giacobbe per dimostrare tale assunto, tuttavia, innesca la possibilità di leggere alla luce di questi versi altri luoghi della Commedia, in cui i riferimenti a Giacobbe e a Rachele si intrecciano in modo indissolubile con la storia personale di Dante e la sua funzione di poeta. Seguendo queste tracce, l’intervento intende proporre una lettura di alcuni importanti passi della Commedia segnati dalla riflessione di Dante sulla propria funzione di scrittore e testimone.

Among such singularities, 14 are the singularities that satisfy a non-vanishing condition on the quadratic part, the remaining 2 are rank 1 singularities that play a role in the geometry of completely integrable systems with fractional monodromy. We describe which of them are stable and which are unstable under infinitesimal completely integrable deformations of the system
Le storie di Giacobbe: strutture bibliche nella Coscienza di Zeno
No full textNe La coscienza di Zeno di Italo Svevo sono rinvenibili echi troppo precisi per essere casuali delle storie bibliche di Giacobbe: come Giacobbe va a lavorare per Labano, così Zeno va a lavorare per Malfenti; come Giacobbe si unisce a Lia invece che all'amata Rachele scambiandola per quest'ultima nel buio della tenda, così Zeno scambia Augusta per Ada nel buio di una seduta spiritica; come Giacobbe lotta con l'angelo riportando una lesione al nervo sciatico, così Zeno soffre di un dolore all'anca dovuto alla sciatica. Augusta ed Ada divengono nel romanzo (come nella tradizione esegetica antica Lia e Rachele) le rappresentanti rispettivamente della vita attiva e della vita contemplativa: così nell'Ulysses di Joyce, influenzato come è noto da Svevo, ritornano come un leit-motif i nomi di Marta e Maria, rispettivamente l'amante Martha e la moglie Molly (Marion) del protagonista Bloom.In La coscienza di Zeno by Italo Svevo, we can find too precise echoes to be accidental of Jacob's biblical stories: as Jacob goes to work for Laban, so Zeno goes to work for Malfenti; as Jacob joins Lia instead of his beloved Rachel, exchanging it for the latter in the darkness of the tent, Zeno exchanges Augusta for Ada in the darkness of a spiritic session; as Jacob struggles with the angel by reporting an injury to the sciatic nerve, so Zeno suffers from a pain in his hip due to sciatic. Augusta and Ada become in the novel (as in the ancient exegetical tradition Lia and Rachel) the representatives respectively of the active life and of the contemplative life: so in Joyce's Ulysses, influenced as is known by Svevo, appear again and again as a leitmotif the names of Marta and Maria, respectively the lover Martha and the wife Molly (Marion) of the protagonist Bloom
