    The contribution is part of the studies I have begun for the collection and filing of materials in preparation for a palingenesis of the legislation of Emperor Julian. In particular, the paper deals with nine constitutions of the second half of 363, the paternity of which is uncertain, because they in the inscriptio indicate the name of Emperor Julian and however the subscriptio dates them to a time after his death, raising the doubt that the laws should be attributed to Jovian
