Datasets for the data collection method and examples of the material flows at city level
Two excel files serve as the datasets for the publication “H. Gao et al., 2021. Standardized method for material flow data collection at city level, Data in Brief.” It provided the detailed instructions of how to use the standardized method to obtain the material flow data with the general data sources at city level. For the application of this method in case of 16 cities in Shandong Province, China, as well as more illustrations of the results based on these datasets of the material flows, they can be found in the publication “H. Three New Species of Indigofera (Leguminosae) from China
Three new species of Indigofera L (Leguminosae) are described from Sichuan and Yunnan provinces in China. Indigofera shipingensis X. F. Gao, known only from a single specimen collected in 1961 from Shiping County, Yunnan, has unifoliolate leaves and is most similar to L caloneura Kurz from southern Yunnan and Southeast Asia. Indigofera megaphylla X. F. Gao, described from Yuanjiang County and also endemic to neighboring Shilling County in southern Yunnan, resembles I. dichroa Craib and I. balfourians Craib from western to northern Yunnan, Sichuan, and southern Xizang, although these two species have much smaler leaflets. Indigofera pseudoheterantha X. F. Gao & Schrire is described from Sichuan County and occurs from the Daocheng to Miyi counties in Southwestern Sichuan to the Zhongdian region of northwestern Yunnan, and appears closely related to I. heterantha Wallich ex Brandis from northwestern Yunnan to southern Xizang, westward to the Himalayas

Regularity for anisotropic elliptic equations with degenerate coercivity
This paper deals with boundary value problems of the form −∑i=1nDi(ai(x,u(x),Du(x)))=f(x),x∈Ω,u(x)=0,x∈∂Ω. Assume that there exist c1,ν,θ>0 such that for almost all x∈Ω and all (s,z)∈R×Rn, |ai(x,s,z)|≤c11+|zi|pjavax.xml.bind.JAXBElement@6841a49a−1,i=1,...,n, and [Formula presented] We let f∈Lm(Ω) and we derive regularity results for weak solutions
Effects of Superheat and Solute Additions on the Grain Size in Binary Copper Alloys
© The Author(s) 2019. By utilizing data from the literature, we examine the effects of superheat and solute additions on the grain size (as measured by columnar grain length) in binary copper alloys. Our investigation provides support for an Arrhenius-like behavior of the superheat on the grain size. We also find a correlation between the columnar grain length at a constant degree of superheat and the variation of the reciprocal of the true growth restriction factor (1/Q) with P, Mg, Mn, Pb, and Sn solute additions to be a power of law of 1/3, which gave a better fit than a linear one.EPSRC (UK

Rubus neohunanensis X. H. Xiong & X. F. Gao 2022, nom. nov.
Rubus neohunanensis X. H. Xiong & X. F. Gao, nom. nov. (Fig. 1: B) ≡ R. buergeri Miquel (1867: 36) var. viridifolius Handel-Mazzetti (1933: 497). Type:— CHINA. Hunan: Wukang [Wugang], Yun-schan [Yunshan], Tempel Gwanyin-go [Guanyin Temple], 1190 m, 13 July 1918, Handel-Mazzetti 12289 (holotype WU!; isotypes A!, E!). — R. hunanensis auct. non Handel-Mazzetti (1933: 497): Lu & Yu (1985: 171), Lu & Boufford (2003: 258). Etymology: —The specific epithet is derived from the prefix neo-, meaning new, and hunanensis, the epithet of HandelMazzetti (1933), meaning Hunan Province of China. Distribution: —The species is endemic to China, occurring in Chongqing, Guizhou, Guangxi, Guangdong, Hunan, Hubei, Jiangxi, Fujian, Zhejiang. It was observed to grow in montane valleys, forests and grasslands at elevations from 300 m to 2500 m. Notes: — Rubus neohunanensis is morphologically similar to R. buergeri Miquel (1867: 36) (Fig. 1: D) in shrubs low, climbing or prostrate, leaves abaxially tomentose and gradually deciduous. However, R. neohunanensis can be distinguished from R. buergeri by the following morphological characters: branchlets, petioles and inflorescences thinly pubescent (vs. tomentose-villous); sepals broadly ovate (vs. lanceolate or ovate-lanceolate); outer sepals pinnate-laciniate on margin (vs. only apically lobed); leaf blade relatively larger, 8–15 cm in diam. (vs. 4–11 cm). Additional specimens examined: — CHINA. Chongqing: Wulong, C. L. Li et al. 0461 (PE). Guizhou: Qingzhen, S. W. Teng 1419 (IBSC). Guangxi: Bin long, Miu shan, R. C. Ching 6061 (PE). "Kurs językoznawstwa ogólnego" w Chinach : przypadek terminologii F. de Saussure’a w tłumaczeniu Gao Mingkai
Teoria F. de Saussure’a pojawiła się w Chinach w latach 30. XX. w. Najpierw są tu omówione chińskie odpowiedniki kluczowych terminów, a następnie część z nich jest również ukazana w szerszym kontekście "Kursu".The theory of F. de Saussure appeared in China in the 1930s. In the 1960s, Chinese linguist Gao Mingkai translated the "Cours de linguistique générale" ("Course in General Linguistics") (1916) into Chinese for the first time. The translation was published in 1980 and since then it has been the main source of knowledge on Saussurian thought for most Chinese scholars. The aim of this paper is to present the translation strategies employed by Gao Mingkai to translate the terminology used in the "Course". First, Chinese equivalents of key terms are discussed, and then some of them are also shown in a broader context of the "Course"
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
