    About training of Kazakh students of not language specialties basis of scientific speech

    The article discusses the process of written scientific speech training should include two components: teaching understanding and evaluating texts that make the scientific speech in all its substantive and problematic species and learning the rules of creating texts in the chosen specialty. The idea about functional languages develops in the theory vernaculars among which numerous languages of science take essentially important place; studying of these languages represents the theory and practice of studying and teaching separate kinds of the professional scientific speech. The author specifies in the conclusion that to train students of the well-bred written scientific speech, are necessary: accurate problem definition, the existence of education and methodical guidance’s, and also the use of modern linguistic and lingo-didactic methods of training

    The object of this study is an autonomous Raspberry Pi-based device for real-time pest detection. The task addressed relates to the lack of affordable, energy-efficient, and autonomous solutions for working in the field without an Internet connection. The paper reports the design of an intelligent device for pest monitoring. The device is focused on automatic recognition of the striped grain flea beetle (Phyllotreta vittula) in grain crops. As a result of the study, a system was designed based on the Raspberry Pi 4.0 microcomputer using the OpenCV library and the YOLO model. The device processes the video stream, identifies pests, and saves data locally. The system provides high accuracy at low power consumption. This was made possible by a lightweight neural network architecture and optimized image processing. A distinctive feature of the solution is autonomy, mobility, and resistance to variable lighting conditions. The system also works with limited computing resources. The results demonstrate that the device could be effectively used in precision farming systems and at scientific institutions. The device helps identify pests and make agricultural decisions at early stages of infection. The technological advancement could be adapted to other types of pests with minimal changes to the model. In the future, the system could be integrated into broader agricultural monitoring platforms with the ability to transfer data to the cloud. The practical use of the device is possible both in large farms and on private farms. Вирішувана проблема полягає у відсутності доступних, енергоефективних та автономних рішень для роботи в польових умовах без підключення до інтернету. Представлено розробку інтелектуального пристрою для моніторингу шкідника. Пристрій орієнтований на автоматичне розпізнавання хлібної смугастої блішки (Phyllotreta vittula) у посівах зернових культур. В результаті дослідження створено систему на базі мікрокомп'ютера Raspberry Pi 4.0 з використанням бібліотеки OpenCV та моделі YOLO. Пристрій виконує обробку відеопотоку, ідентифікує шкідників та зберігає дані локально. Система забезпечує високу точність при низькому енергоспоживанні. Це стало можливим завдяки легкій нейромережевій архітектурі та оптимізованій обробці зображень. Відмінною особливістю рішення є автономність, мобільність та стійкість до умов змінного освітлення. Система також працює при обмежених обчислювальних ресурсах. Отримані результати демонструють, що пристрій може бути ефективно використаний у системах точного землеробства та наукових установах. Пристрій допомагає виявляти шкідника та приймати агротехнічні рішення на ранніх стадіях зараження. Розробка може бути адаптована під інші види шкідників з мінімальними змінами в моделі. У перспективі система може бути інтегрована в ширші платформи агромоніторингу з можливістю передачі даних у хмару. Практичне застосування пристрою можливе як у великих господарствах, так і на приватних фермах. Особливо актуальна розробка для регіонів з обмеженою технічною інфраструктуро

    Fine-Tuning Artificial Neural Networks to Predict Pest Numbers in Grain Crops: A Case Study in Kazakhstan

    This study investigates the application of different ML methods for predicting pest outbreaks in Kazakhstan for grain crops. Comprehensive data spanning from 2005 to 2022, including pest population metrics, meteorological data, and geographical parameters, were employed to train the neural network for forecasting the population dynamics of Phyllotreta vittula pests in Kazakhstan. By evaluating various network configurations and hyperparameters, this research considers the application of MLP, MT-ANN, LSTM, transformer, and SVR. The transformer consistently demonstrates superior predictive accuracy in terms of MSE. Additionally, this work highlights the impact of several training hyperparameters such as epochs and batch size on predictive accuracy. Interestingly, the second season exhibits unique responses, stressing the effect of some features on model performance. By advancing our understanding of fine-tuning ANNs for accurate pest prediction in grain crops, this research contributes to the development of more precise and efficient pest control strategies. In addition, the consistent dominance of the transformer model makes it suitable for its implementation in practical applications. Its use allows, firstly, to enrich the methodological apparatus of modern literary study; secondly, to reveal more deeply the psychology of the author, the characters, the reader, their ideas about the surrounding reality; thirdly, to understand the mechanisms of the writer’s thinking and their reflection on various levels of poetics of works.
