No full textSophie Podlipská, spisovatelka druhé poloviny devatenáctého století, vytvářela svá vrcholná díla souběžně s májovskou generací. Ve své bohaté literární tvorbě vytvořila celkem 114 novel a velkých románů, uveřejnila přes stovku drobnějších prací. Ve svých povídkách a románech se nejčastěji inspirovala údělem ženy a rodinným životem v současné měšťanské společnosti, národním probuzením i dávnější českou historií. Je považována za zakladatelku povídek pro dospívající dívky. Kromě literární činnosti se angažovala také v oblasti filantropie, zvlášť ji zajímala ženská otázka. Sophie Podlipská byla mladší sestrou uznávané české spisovatelky, tvůrkyně venkovského románu, Karoliny Světlé. Ve srovnání se starší sestrou se dílo Sophie Podlipské jeví jako méně životné. Dílo Sophie Podlipské postrádá především silný, poutavý příběh, dále napětí, potřebné k udržení stálé čtenářovy pozornosti a další nedostatky, které ubírají dílu Sophie Podlipské na přitažlivosti. Tyto nedostatky potom způsobují, že dílo Sophie Podlipské zůstává v dnešní době zapomenuté a autorka je tak připomínána pouze jako mladší sestra slavné Karoliny Světlé.Sophie Podlipská, the writer of the second half 19th century, made up her best pieces with the generation of magazine Máj together. In her rich literature production she created 114 novelettes and big novels. She publicated over hundred pettier works. In her short stories and novels she inspired with deal of women and family life in present bourgeois society, the awakening of nation and the oldest czech history. She is a founder of short stories for young girls. Except literature pieces, she was actived in the sphere of philanthrophy too – she was interested in question of women. Sophie Podlipská was the younger sister of reputable czech writer, the founder of rural novel, Karolina Světlá. In the compare with older sister is piece of Sophie Podlipská very less animate. The pieces of Sophie Podlipská is poor of strong attractive story, tension – these points are necessary to keeping of reader´s attention. There are the next absences which take her pieces of attraction. No full textIncludes abstract.Includes bibliographical references (leaves 147-162).Generally, this study aimed to explore whether financial settlement in litigation influences outcome and recovery from closed head injury in a sample of traumatic brain injured (TBI) litigants who were tested and interviewed both during litigation (at time 1, or T1) and 1 year or more after case settlement (at time 2, or T2). More specifically, my major goals were to assess (a) changes between TI and T2 on outcome variables such as neuropsychological test scores and self- and other-reported cognitive function, behaviour, activities of daily living (ADL), and physical dependency (PD), and (b) the impact of demographic (e.g., years of education, employment status) and clinical (e.g., severity of injury, degree of post-traumatic amnesia, Glasgow Coma Scale score) variables on the aforementioned outcome variables
