Trends of Europeanization in social welfare politics. IHS Political Science Series 82, July 2002

Fritz W. Scharpf (2000 and 2002) defines the term Europeanization as the progressive shift of governmental tasks to the European level. According to this understanding he identifies four modes of Europeanization. Further, he recognizes the establishment of minimum standards and the open method of co-ordination as specific modes of Europeanization. This paper first relates the welfare political goals and problems of both named methods of Europeanization in social welfare politics, then describes the political processes which accompany them, and subsequently tests whether Scharpf’s analysis can be affirmed

This data set is part of a study investigating how self-efficacy and expected social affiliation influence Norwegian upper secondary school students' interest in gender-dominated and gender-balanced occupations. In a survey, self-efficacy, expected social affiliation, career interest and descriptive and prescriptive gender stereotypes were collected for 12 occupations with brief descriptions. The dataset was collected from 210 students in the first year of upper secondary education for general studies (year 11) by means of a questionnaire distributed and administered electronically via the survey portal nettskjema.no, which is developed and hosted by the University of Oslo ([email protected]). Data were collected anonymously from nine classes in seven different schools in central Norway between October 2022 and January 2023. All materials were presented to participants in Norwegian. An English translation of the questions and answer options is provided in the manuscript "The Role of Self-Efficacy and Social Belonging in Norwegian Upper Secondary Students’ Interest in Gendered Occupations".</p

This dataset included one exploratory experiment that used an attribute rating task to identify the level to which individuals felt differing attributes were appropriate for female-dominated, male-dominated, and gender-balanced roles. Data was gathered in late 2018 via an anonymous self-administered questionnaire. Each participant responded to all attributes paired with one female-dominated, one male-dominated, and one gender-balanced role. The roles were randomly selected per participant. The order of the roles was randomised per participant, and the order of the attributes was randomised by participant and role. This builds on an earlier attribute naming experiment; due to ethical reasons, the raw data from this first experiment are not included in this dataset. This dataset contains four files; an RStudio code that allows for the straightforward replication of the conducted analyses, a .txt file also containing this code, a .txt file containing the raw data, and a readme.txt file

The study aims to analyze the time required to approve the curriculum (program of study) considering the impact that repetition has on the percentage of progress. The population to be analyzed is that of the students enrolled in the semester April 2017 - August 2017 of the Quito Campus (n = 10454). The data comes from the Integrated System of Academic and Financial Control “SICAF” of the UTE University. For the data analysis we used Excel Electronic Sheet and Microsoft Access. From the data, the results established that the maximum number of additional semesters required to complete and approve the curriculum is two; which means that students would be increasing the duration of their undergraduate studies in an average of 22.22 %El estudio tiene como objetivo analizar el tiempo requerido para aprobar la malla curricular (pensum de estudios) considerando el impacto que tiene la repitencia en el porcentaje de avance.

This article discusses the Katz-Bernstein Integrative Therapy Concept of „Safe Place“ and expands it further by application in the treatment of in-patients with eating disorders. The author, a Movement Therapist at the Bad Neuenahr Clinic for Children andAdolescent Psychiatry, describes the Diagnosis, aetiology and Psychotherapy of Anorexia and Bulimia.
