Knjižnično mrežo sestavljajo osrednje območne, osrednje, krajevne in potujoče knjižnice. Opravili smo analizo trenutnega delovanja potujoče knjižnice s statističnimi podatki iz sistema COBISS in opravili intervju z izvajalci knjižnične dejavnosti v izposojevališčih premične zbirke. V občini Kranj 21 postajališč, v občini Cerklje na Gorenjskem 11 postajališč, v občini Naklo 4 postajališča, v občini Preddvor 6 postajališč, v občini Šenčur 9 postajališč in v občini Jezersko 1 postajališče.The library network consists of central regional, central, local, and mobile libraries. Mobile library performs its activity in the areas with less than 1500 inhabitants, and with the distance of more than 4 kilometres from a library. The mobile library can be carried out in the form of bibliobusthat is a vehicle adapted for performing library activities. Bibliobus represents an economical and effective solution for a better extent of the library activities in the area. The aim of the research is to check the current extent of the library activities, check advisability of the bibliobus introduction, and to plan its stops in the municipalities of Kranj, Cerklje na Gorenjskem, Naklo, Preddvor, Šenčur and Jezersko. Based on the data in the COBISS system, we have performed two analyses of the current mobile library operation. Further, we have also performed a interview with the performers of the library activities in the borrowing points of the mobile collection. The second part is comprised of the local environment analysis. The outcome of the master\u27s thesis is a plan of the bibliobus stops network in the area of the municipalities of Kranj, Cerklje na Gorenjskem, Naklo, Preddvor, Šenčur, and Jezersko. A total of 52 stops are planednamely 21 stops in the municipality of Kranj, 11 stops in the municipality of Cerklje na Gorenjskem, 4 stops in the municipality of Naklo, 6 stops in the municipality of Preddvor, 9 stops in the municipality of Šenčur, and 1 stop in the municipality of Jezersko

Robots have become an indispensable part of modern industry, as their precision and repeatability make them ideal for performing repetitive tasks. With the integration of computer vision and artificial intelligence, robots are becoming capable of handling complex tasks such as object sorting, often surpassing human performance. The purpose of this master’s thesis is the development and implementation of a system that combines a collaborative robot with computer vision to autonomously recognize and sort small objects. For the UR3e cobot, the Denavit–Hartenberg parameters were calculated, and MATLAB code was written to compute the transformation matrix between the base and the end-effector for arbitrary joint angles. To recognize four categories of small objects, a program in Python was developed, training a neural network based on the ResNet18 architecture and deploying the recognition system on an NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano. In addition, a separate program for manipulating small objects was created for the UR3e robot. Communication between the Jetson Orin Nano and the robot was established using Modbus, resulting in a fully integrated system

Neuropsychological constraints to human data production on a global scale

Which are the factors underlying human information production on a global level? In order to gain an insight into this question we study a corpus of 252–633 mil. publicly available data files on the Internet corresponding to an overall storage volume of 284–675 Terabytes. Analyzing the file size distribution for several distinct data types we find indications that the neuropsychological capacity of the human brain to process and record information may constitute the dominant limiting factor for the overall growth of globally stored information, with real-world economic constraints having only a negligible influence. This supposition draws support from the observation that the files size distributions follow a power law for data without a time component, like images, and a log-normal distribution for multimedia files, for which time is a defining qualia. Author summary: The generation of new information is limited by two key factors, by the incurring economic costs and by the capacity of the human brain to process and store data and information; the controlling agent needs to retain an overall understanding even when data is generated by semiautomatic processes. These processes are reflected in the statistical properties of the data files publicly available on the Internet. Collecting a corpus of 252–633 mil. files we find that the statistics of the file size distribution are consistent with the supposition that data production on a global level is shaped and limited by the neuropsychological information processing capacity of the brain, with economic and hardware constraints having a negligible influence
