Caratterizzazione sperimentale della propagazione di fessure per fatica in provini CT estratti da un assile ferroviario
No full textNel presente report vengono illustrati i risultati di una campagna di prove sperimentali per la caratterizzazione della propagazione di fessure per fatica nel materiale base costituente un assile ferroviario. A tale scopo, un set di provini Compat Tension, con geometria standard ASTM, sono stati estratti dall’assile stesso. L’orientazione dei provini nel piano di taglio è stata scelta in modo tale che la giacitura del piano di fessura fosse ortogonale all’asse dell’assile.
I test sperimentali sono stati condotti su una macchina servoidraulica di fatica del Laboratorio del Dipartimento di Ingegneria Aerospaziale di Pisa. Le misurazioni della lunghezza di fessura al variare del numero di cicli di fatica sono state eseguite con la tecnica DCPD (Direct Current Potential Drop)
