    Subfamily Chelolepadinae subfam. nov. Chelolepadinae Ross & Frick, 2007 b: 24, nom. nud. Type genus. Chelolepas Ross & Frick, 2007: 3; by monotypy. Diagnosis (amended). Wall cylindrical; parities without midribs and major basal teeth; with relatively large, outward-projecting, sutural eminencies each formed by pair of abutting flanges; parities with small longitudinal tubes which develop between fine basal teeth rather than as external tubes that develop between T-shaped ribs in Tubicinella. Genus and species included. Chelolepas cheloniae (Monroe & Limpus, 1979). Remarks.
