Comments: In 1924 Neville Fraser accompanied the Governor of Victoria Lord Stradbroke and others on a motor sight-seeing trip from Oodnadatta, South Australia to Katherine and Darwin, Northern Teritory. Gilbert River is approximately 400kms north of Alice Springs.
