No full textIn meiner Diplomarbeit habe ich den Einfluss der Kabbala in Franz Kafkas Roman Der Prozeß untersucht. Wie ist das Jüdische (Glaube, Denkweise, Tradition und Mystik) bei Kafka nachzuweisen? Ich versuche die Motive der Kabbala in Kafkas Roman darzustellen und zu interpretieren. Eine zentrale Frage ist noch: Wie sein eigenes Judentum aussieht, nachdem er es mit dem Denken der Moderne verbunden hatte. Ich gebe ein kleines Porträt über Prag im 19. Jahrhundert, hinsichtlich der Literatur und über das dort lebende Judentum. Das Hauptobjekt der ganzen Diplomarbeit ist Kafka und sein Judentum, seine Beziehung zu dieser Religion und der Nachweis der kabbalistischen Denkweise in dem Prozeß-Roman. Bei der Interpretation des Prozeß-Romans im Lichte der Kabbala lege ich den Akzent auf zwei Grundmotive: das Gericht (sein Wesen, seine Erscheinungsformen und Hierarchie, die von ihm geführten Prozesse) parallel zum himmlischen Gericht (mit einer kurzen Exkurs über den freien Willen) und zweitens der Begriff des Gesetzes hinsichtlich der Türhütertradition.BKnémetegyetem

Ich beschäftige mich nicht nur mit diesen zwei Personen, sondern auch mit ihren Beziehungen zu sich selbst und zu anderen Menschen. After Sulla: study in the settlement and material culture of the Piraeus peninsula in the Roman and Late Roman period
No full textModem text-based and ancient historical accounts take the sack of Piraeus, the port of Athens in Greece, by the Romans under Sulla in 86 ВС as the terminal point of the history of the area in antiquity. Archaeological work on the town has tended so far to regard the post-Classical phases of the settlement as less interesting than those marking the 'heyday' of the port in the Classical period. This thesis explores the nature and scale of settlement in the area in the centuries spanning the town's destruction by the Romans in 86 ВС and the Late Roman period. The study is based on a re-assessment of archaeological data from old and recent rescue excavations in the modem town up to 1997. It also presents and discusses in detail the results of post-excavation work by the author on unpublished material from an extensive site excavated in the early 1980s, These results are compared to and synthesized with epigraphic and other testimonies to answer questions about the nature of settlement and the degree of social and cultural change in the area during the period in focus. The discussion focuses in particular on; 1) exploring continuity and change in the settlement patterns, demography and topography of the town, 2) the changing nature of domestic space and its organization, and 3) investigating patterns of pottery consumption and trade. These issues are examined in the context of the social, economic and cultural changes documented for the Roman imperial and Late Roman period by previous archaeological fieldwork and excavations in the region of southern Greece and the Aegean

Das Schloss ist unter Kafkas Romanen derjenige, der hinsichtlich der Motivik und der bei einer Romananalyse wesentlichen drei Aspekte – Raum-, Zeit- und Figurenstruktur – am komplexesten ist. No full textThis research aims to describe: (1) the element of plot, character, setting, and (2) point of view in Roman Der Prozess by Franz Kafka and the relationship between the intrinsic elements in the Roman Der Prozess by Franz Kafka. This research uses objective Approach with structural Theory by Reinhard Marquaß. The data source of this research is the roman Der Prozess by Franz Kafka which published in 1925 in Berlin by Die Schmiede Verlag.The data has analyzed using descriptive qualities with reading and noting technique.The data reliability uses intrarater and interrater reliability.The result of this research were: (1) description of the plot elements: Initial situation, peak tension and the settlement of the problem. Description of figure elements: Josef K.(responsible, immoral, discipline, time, etc.), Miss Bürstner (hardworking, friendly, immoral,and kind), Leni (kind, flirty, wily,and immoral), Uncle Albert ( loves the family, kind, and criti), and Titorelli (trustworthy, kind, and wily). Description of background elements: location setting: the place that show the event (Josef K’s apartment, court rooms, in an apartment, Bank, etc.), the place that show the character (a warehouse in the Bank, Workspace of Josef K., miss Bürstner rooms, etc.), the place that show the character feel (an apartment on the Julius street, Bank, and lawyer office), and the place that show the symbol (a porterhouse, a wine tavern, depot, and a former mining area), and background time: time of the day (one day, every day closer to eight in the morning, sunday, etc.), time of the year (spring, winter, twenty years, etc.), phase life of main character (Josef K. anniversary thirtieth and thirty-one). Description viewpoint author uses the third person perspective (Er). No full textThis Thesis examines the underlying evidence for parade-grounds at auxiliary forts in Roman Britain. Firstly by examining the evidence supporting forts with actual physical remains, such as the altars and the tribunal at Maryport and the artificially levelled area at Hardknott, and those with flagged areas which have been interpreted as parade-grounds, such as Ambleside and Gelligaer. The literary evidence of ancient authors is examined with particular reference to training and exercising and where this might have been undertaken. The occasions when a parade might have been appropriate in Roman times are examined, as is the possibility of a modem concept being superimposed on an ancient action
