    Libro V. Introduzione

    No full text
Ulpian's commentary ad edictumis one of the great texts of Western legal thought: its mighty layout reflects centuries of prestigious knowledge, destined to play a crucial role in the laboratory of modernity. Together with the Institutions of Gaius, it is also the work most used by the Justinian compilers in the drafting of the Digesta, and consequently the one we know best of all Roman jurisprudence. Two volumes of the Scriptores are dedicated to it - and in particular to the first six books that compose it: the first with books I-III, edited by Cristina Giachi, and the second with books IV-VII, edited by Antonio Angelosanto, Valerio Marotta, Francesca Pulitanò, Aldo Schiavone, and Francesca Tamburi. Their reading introduces one to a vision that is both analytical and comprehensive of Ulpian's work, in a perspective that represents an absolute novelty in legal historiography

The paper deals with the dyslexic syndrome, focusing on the complex relation between dyslexia and Specific Language Impairment (SLI). Dyslexic subjects may also show deficiencies in development of grammatical competence, due to a critical functioning of the circuits involved in procedural memory. The analysis of original empirical data relative to speech production of some dyslexic Italian students is followed by theoretical reflections on the special status of morpho–syntactic competence in diVerent “disturbed” contexts, with potential consequences regarding the concept of language faculty

Responsible Innovation in the Wine Sector: A Distinctive Value Strategy

    No full text
AbstractInnovation can be a driver for value creation, variously understood. The emergence of Corporate Social Responsibility highlighted many potential benefits descending from innovation in industries traditionally considered “low-tech”, where the spheres of value concerning the environment and society are of particular importance in the eyes of a consumer who behaves like a “responsible citizen”. This paper examines a case of “responsible innovation” in an wine cooperative, from which internal and external effects originate, able to increase the multiple dimensions of value, involving both the project leader and the territory
