Il ruolo dell'inconscio nella costituzione della soggettività nella Filosofia dello spirito soggettivo di Hegel

The aim of the present work is to analyze the role of the unconscious in the establishment of subjectivity in Hegel’s philosophy of subjective spirit. The project is divided into three chapters and aims to re-evaluate a part of the Hegelian system, the philosophy of subjective spirit, which has only recently attracted the interest of the Hegel-Researchers. The first chapter is dedicated to anthropology, which makes up the first part of the philosophy of subjective spirit, and acts as a link between philosophy of nature and philosophy of the spirit of the Encyclopedia of Philosophical Sciences. In Anthropology, Hegel sets out his doctrine of the soul. The role of the unconscious emerges first of all in the sentient soul in relation to the various forms of the magical relationship (magnetic somnambulism, animal magnetism, mesmerism), to dreams and mental illness. In the same chapter we analyze the difference between romantic medicine and empirical medicine in accordance with Hegel’s contemporary medical nosology, in order to establish an intermediate position. The second chapter deals with the dissolution of the false problem of soul-body dualism exposed by Hegel at § 389. As a result the idea of an embodied mind towards naturalism of second nature develops. This process is fully realized, through habit and the acquisition of a second nature, with the birth of the ego in the real soul. In the third chapter the role of the unconscious in the field of psychology is tackled, on the one hand in relation to the theoretical spirit, and on the other, in relation to the practical spirit. Hegel introduces expressions like ‘Night pit’ and ‘dormant images’ and uses terms like bewusstlos to emphasize the importance of the unconscious in this third part of the subjective Spirit. In particular, the role of the unconscious is played on two levels, at the epistemological level in the theoretical Spirit and on the practical level or rather from the point of view of acting in the practical Spirit. With regard to the theoretical spirit, the unconscious emerges on a representative level. A similar situation occurs in the practical spirit on the level of impulses and arbitrariness, creating a dichotomy in terms of action. Although this part of the subjective spirit still represents a preamble of action, the Psychology of Hegel presents at the same time a ‘fundamental ethic’

Patočka y Diotima. Notas para un diálogo sobre lo bello

Negative Platonism is perhaps one of Jan Patočka's texts that has received the most attention in the academic world. Its importance is rarely doubted. However, today we are far from exhausting the implications of the Czech philosopher's interpretation of Plato. In particular, the conception of the Platonic Idea that derives from Patočka's reading does not seem to have been sufficiently confronted with what Plato himself said in his dialogues. According to the author, there seems to be a particular affinity between what Diotima says in her speech in the Symposium and Patočka's interpretation of Plato, which, until now, does not seem to have received enough attention in the academic literature on these two authors. In a similar way to what Patočka proposes with the experience of freedom as a door that opens to the consideration of the Idea, Diotima anchors the recognition of beauty in itself with the experience of beauty in the world. This "anchoring" would be given by the ascending path proposed in the scala amoris, in which eros, assumes an “integrative function” within the lover. Precisely, this integrative function carried out by eros seems to give reason to the link that Diotima establishes between that which is beauty in itself and the true virtue that the lover engenders by experiencing it.Platonismo negativo es quizás uno de los textos de Jan Patočka que más atención ha recibido en el ámbito académico.

Labor Market Dynamics and Geographical Reallocation

We study how local labor demand shocks affect internal migration using the universe of labor market flows for Italy. First, we document two novel facts: i) large and systematic differences between gross and net job and internal migration flows arise both across space and over time; ii) each gross flow is an important driver of the net growth rates. We estimate the causal impact of different-sign labor demand shocks on internal migration flows using as instrumental variable plausibly exogenous large mass hire and layoffs events. Our estimates reveal that job creation has a strong effect on the in-migration rate, whereas job destruction has a much milder effect on the out-migration rate. Crucially, we document that the large responsiveness of in-migration does not work through an increase in the number of relocating workers, but rather through changes in their chosen destination alternatives. We also find that the effects of job creation on in-migration flows have a much larger geographical reach than those of job destruction, as out-migration flows are locally concentrated

Abstract:The work is continuation and the updating of other works of the author on the brain Gramática of the Castilian language destined to the use of the Americans of Andrés Bello. We continue in the part of the workmanship by Rufino José Cuervo when approaching the main lines of this grammar so important during the century and a half in the countries of Castilian speaking. Its fundamental principles are investigated and not so much the uses of the castle it is discussed its Dependence and independence of the General Grammar of Port-Royal. . In the parts of the sentence the work is especially focused on the hierarchy of parts of the sentence (Jespersen). The similarity of the definition of verb with stoicism (Chrysippus) stands out. It insists on the novelty for the time of the definition of preposition. There is also a deficiency in the study of hypothetical nexus. It is therefore a partly theoretical, partly historical, study that wants to be critical and systematic.Key Words: Grammar, Andrés Bello, preposition, stoicism, General Grammar of Port-Royal

This volume aims to take up the theme of the relationship between faith and pestilence, which, despite its topicality, is rooted in a long-term dimension that involves different areas of knowledge. A markedly disciplinary look brings together historical, theological, political, and juridical analyses and thus allows to understand this relationship through paradigms, turning points, continuities, and discontinuities. Such a wide perspective makes it possible to observe how the theme has crossed ages and religions, from the fathers of the church, to medicine in medieval Islam, up to contem- porary times, with Ivan Illich’s harsh critique of forced medicalization and the issues that emerged during the Covid-19 pandemic
