A Functional Reactive Animation of a Lift using Fran
Full text linkThis paper uses the Functional Reactive Animation system, Fran, to give a simulation of a simple two floor lift (or elevator). We introduce those aspects of Fran relevant to the simulation, thus making the paper self-contained. We show how to extend the design to one for a lift with an arbitrary number of floors, and we conclude the paper with a discussion of how the Fran simulation can be verified in an informal temporal logic
