    International system of football: international migration of Czech football players and the role of players' agents

    The aim of the thesis is to bring more insight into the international organization of football. The scope of the analysis is the institutional framework of football and migration of professional football players. And in particular functioning and struggle between and within the world's football governing body FIFA and the EU. More stress is devoted to the process of migration of players at the global as well as European levels, and the structural development of the migration of the Czech players abroad. The former is analyzed for the last few years, while the latter between the seasons of 1993/94 and 2007/08. The focus is also given to the study of mechanism of international migration, which tries to reveal the role of the FIFA player's agents in the international transfers of the Czech players. The results of this work are based on data obtained from the internet databases containing information about foreign engagement of players and on a number of interviews with the Czech FIFA players' agents and their assistants. These were organized by the author during his original research. The analysis shows that the football's labour markets are more of regional than global character and are determined by the geographic, cultural and historical conditions. Libor Flemr, Ph.D. ABSTRACT This study focuses on the town of Spindleruv Mlyn, which is currently the largest, highest- rated, but also the most expensive ski resort in the Czech Republic and holds TOP ski resort, which in recent years as the only winter resort tried to host the World Cup in Alpine skiing women, in the disciplines of slalom and giant slalom women. Spindleruv Mlyn organized racing elite women's series for the first time in December 2005 and again in January 2008. Premiere World Cup Giant was initially held back in 2003, but then defeated the plans of the organizers of the lack of snow. A success for the next SP in Spindleruv Mlyn took place in March 2011. Objective: The aim of this study is to assess the benefits for town of Spindleruv Mlyn (hence the whole county, region and Czech Republic) may have held such events as the World Cup in Alpine Skiing.     Spatial and material conditions applicable to physical activities of young adolescents living in Central Bohemia Region The major objective of dissertation thesis was to explore the continuity of spatial and material conditions and affiliation to physical activities of individuals aged 12-15 years, i.e. young adolescents, living in municipalities, around the area of Central Bohemia Region (population 10 000-22 000) and their surroundings. The presented study was conducted predominantly as an empirical association research. The research sample consisted of 2 660 young adolescents living in five muni- cipalities in the area of Central Bohemia Region (Benešov, Beroun, Čelákovice, Kutná Hora, Neratovice) and their close surroundings. However, 2 564 properly completed questionnaires were analyzed. No direct relationship was found between the perceptions of spatial conditions, individual material equipment of young adolescents, and their attendance in physical activities. The correlation between spatial conditions applicable to locomotion activity and between locomotion activity of young adolescents reached r = -0.04. The correlation coefficients between spatial conditions applicable to sport and between organized sport activity in young adolescents were ranging from -0.10 to 0.19, and from -0.17 to 0.26..

    Title: Financing of promoting physical activity by the towns with extended scope Aims: Purpose of this work is to explore and analyze condition of financing of promoting physical activity in the towns with extended scope in Czech Republic. I am focusing on budget of towns with extended scope, analyzing of sport financing in these towns, analyzing of profit or loss of sport facilities, utilization of grants, the citizen attitude with this problem and the functionality of departments of sport. Methods: The work is descriptively-analytical. Collecting of data is done by recherché and questionnaire. Analysis and comparison will be used for evaluation of data. I will research whether the number of population is correlated with the amount of money put into the promotion of physical activity and with the number of workers in the Sports Department etc. Results: The towns with extended scope are recognized the importance of physical activities and they are very active to seek financial resources to support them. However, in many smaller municipalities with extended scope is not personnel involved in the sport at all, or this issue is passed on someone as a part-time.     Title: Analysis of customer satisfaction in six selected Expreska fitness premises and their mutual comparison Objectives: This diploma thesis deals with the research of satisfaction and expectations of female customers of the Expreska circle training in selected six establishments in Prague and consequent comparing of these places. Satisfaction is measured using a questionnaire, in which the customers asses the perceived quality of services and the quality of services that is important to them. On the basis of obtained data there is conducted analysis of sociological parameters such as age, occupation, monthly income, etc. The main research is completed with the survey of former Expreska customers and in conclusion there is comparison of the two surveys.     Title: Differences between the beginning and experienced teachers of Physical Education in a lesson preparation and motivation of students on the second stage of elementary schools and lower grades of high schools. Aims: The main aim of diploma thesis is to compare and describe differences between beginning and experienced teachers of Physical Education in the Czech Republic in the field of lesson preparation and student motivation. We were interested if there are any significant discrepancies or similarities between selected concepts. Methods: Data of the practical part were assembled by the method of empirical quantitative research in a form of a self-made questionnaire in which took part the teachers of Physical Education who teach on the second stage of elementary schools and lower grades of high schools in the Czech Republic. A condition for filling in was the length of pedagogical practice under five years or upon twenty years. 25 % of elementary schools and 25 % of high schools from each region were randomly asked. In total, 772 schools were addressed, we gathered 271 answers from respondents. Acquired data were elaborated and evaluated in the MS Excel programme.
