    Response of oil flax varieties to abiotic conditions of the Middle Cis-Ural region by formation of seed yield

    Studying the reaction to the abiotic conditions of the Middle Urals in 16 varieties of oil flax will allow to adapt the culture: increase its productivity and product quality. As a standard, the variety ‘VNIIMK 620’ was sown. The experiments were laid on sod-podzolic medium loamy soil in the grain-grass rotation after winter crops during 2012-2015. During the years of research, the plow layer of the experimental plots had different humus contents - medium and high, mobile phosphorus and exchange potassium - medium and very high, exchange soil acidity - slightly acidic and close to neutral. To a greater extent, by 91.5%, the change in the seed yield of the studied oil flax varieties depended on the abiotic conditions of the growing season; the share of the influence of the genotype of the variety in the formation of seed yield was 3.0%. Meteorological conditions during the years of the experiments were characterized by large fluctuations in the average daily air temperature and the amount of precipitation that fell over the months, in consequence of this the seed yield of flax oil varied in wide range over both varieties and years of study. The most favorable abiotic conditions for the formation of oil flax seeds were formed in 2014, when, during the ripening period of the seeds optimal meteorological conditions have developed with hydro thermic factor of 1.0. This contributed to obtaining the highest seed yield in 2014 - 218 g/m2. On average, over four years of research, the same response to abiotic conditions with seed yield was formed in ‘VNIIMK 620’ varieties from Russia, ‘Clark’ varieties from Holland and ‘Barbara’ from Hungary. The most plastic grade is ‘Clark’ with a plasticity coefficient bi = 1.33. The most stable seed yield is the ‘Norlin’ variety with a stability coefficient of 32.2. Russian varieties ‘LM-96’, ‘N 3829’ and foreign varieties ‘Norlin’, ‘Atalante’ proved to be the most adaptable to cultivation conditions in the agroecological conditions of the Cis-Ural region and can be considered promising in terms used as starting material in the breeding process

    Industrialization and the emergence of new industrial centers of Russia led to the emergence of workers communities and emergence of seasonal work (otkhodnichestvo) phenomenon. Analyzing the distribution of Tatar workers by the country’s enterprises, the author notes that most of them did not work in non-Muslim factories, forming there a local Muslim groups. Muslim workers faced to the need to transform traditional social institutions in the new environment. The article addresses such issues as an arrangement of religious life, introduction of religious holidays to the working schedule, the establishment of the official religious community and the right to build the mosque, fulfillment of funeral rites. Particular attention is paid to the issue of election of a Muslim cleric (mullah) in such communities and his salary.Индустриализация и появление в России новых промышленных центров обусловили возникновение рабочих поселений и породили такое явление, как отходничество. Анализируя распределение рабочих-татар по предприятиям страны, автор отмечает, что они трудились в основном не на предприятиях своих единоверцев, формируя мусульманские артели. Рабочие-мусульмане столкнулись с необходимостью трансформации традиционных социальных институтов в новых условиях. В статье рассматриваются такие вопросы обустройства религиозного быта, как внесение в рабочее расписание религиозных праздников, учреждение прихода и право на постройку мечети, отправление погребального обряда.     Leaders of the Tatar society of Moscow in the petition movement of Muslims in 1905

    The article is devoted to the study of the social activity of the urban Tatar community of Moscow, the regional leaders of the ethno-confessional society of which took an active part in the petition movement of the first half of 1905. The objective is to identify the features of Moscow Muslim Tatars’ participation in the political life of Muslims in Russia during the years of social emancipation in the context of the socio-political situation in the country as a whole and the life of the Tatar community of Moscow. The author of the article has established four reasons for the increased political activity of Moscow Tatars. A comprehensive analysis of the Memorandum on the Needs of Muslims, which was compiled in Moscow, regarding all the issues raised in the document, allows us to state that it is imbued with liberal ideology and is aimed at achieving equality of the Islamic denomination with the Orthodox denomination, which was dominant in the Empire at the time, on a number of fundamental issues, including equality in the exercise of religious rights for Muslims at the level of Orthodox subjects – the titular people of the empire, as well as in the civil and military spheres. Compared with the practices that were in force for the time being and the existing public relations in the country, those requests were of political nature. The petition of Moscow Tatars, thanks to its publication in the periodical press, turned into a “public memorandum” that played a significant role in the political education of co-religionists, the formation and development of social and political activity of Russia’s Muslim peoples. In addition, the events related to the drafting and filing of the petition contributed to the consolidation of the Tatar elites in Moscow, allowing them to publicly declare themselves as a mature social unit in matters of protecting the religious rights of co-religionists

    REACTION OF THE SPRING RAPE OF ACCORD VARIETY TO SOWING RECEPTIONS

    The article presents the results of the study on the reaction of spring rape by the formation of aboveground biomass yield on the sowing methods are given. It was revealed that, with ordinary and wide-row seeding methods, the maximum productivity of 3.09 tons per hectare and 3.05 tons per hectare, respectively, ensured the seeding rate of 3 million pieces of virgin seeds per 1 hectare. The increase in the productivity of the above-ground biomass is due to the density of standing of plants for harvesting, the mass of one plant, the lining and collection of dry matter.</jats:p

    The problem of the chemical composition of fruits and seeds of field crops, depending on abiotic conditions, requires further investigation and is an urgent task. The aim of the research was to study the reaction of spring wheat Iren to abiotic conditions by the chemical composition of the grain. The research tasks are to determine the chemical composition of grain by 70 elements; to reveal differences in the content of chemical elements in grains, grown in various abiotic conditions. The object of research is the grains of spring wheat of Iren variety. Samples of Iren spring wheat grains of 2014 and 2015 years harvest were taken to determine the content of 70 chemical elements Agricultural consumers’ co-operative named after Michurin of Vavozhskiy district of the Udmurt Republic. The content of 70 chemical elements in grain was determined in the Analytical Certified Testing Center (ACTC) of All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Mineral Raw Materials named after N.M. Fedorovskiy (VIMS). The analysis method is mass-spectral with inductively coupled plasma (MS) + atomic emission with inductively coupled plasma (AE) according to the NSAM technique №512-MS. The reaction of Irene spring wheat to abiotic conditions was expressed by a different content of 45 chemical elements in the grains. The concentration of 25 chemical elements in the grain over the years of research did not differ. Grain, grown in the abiotic conditions of 2014, contained more lithium, boron, sodium, aluminum, calcium, vanadium, chromium, cobalt, nickel, copper, zinc, gallium, germanium, arsenic, selenium, rubidium, yttrium, zirconium, niobium, palladium, tin, lanthanum, cerium, neodymium, hafnium, tantalum, tungsten, iridium, mercury, lead, thorium. In the abiotic conditions of 2015, the grains had a higher content of magnesium - by 255.3, silicon by 6.1, phosphorus by 738.8, sulfur by 153.2, potassium by 871.9, titanium by 6 , 23, manganese - by 19.4, iron - by 9.6 μg / g, relative to similar indicators in the grain crop of 2014.</jats:p

    The chemical composition of the arable layer of soddy mesopodzol and middling soil was studied for 53 elements and 8 oxides. The content of chemical elements in the soil is determined in the analytical certification test center (AСTС) Russian Research Institute of Mineral Resources named after N.M. Fedorovskiy by mass spectral analysis with inductively coupled plasma (MS) and atomic-emission method with inductively coupled plasma (AES). According to the research, it was found, that in the topsoil in the variant with mineral fertilizers the content of heavy metals (vanadium, chromium, cobalt, nickel, copper, zinc, arsenic, cadmium, lead) was increased relative to similar values in the variant of without fertilizers, but their concentration does not exceed the admissible concentration limit. The oxide content in the topsoil during long-term application of mineral fertilizers has not changed compared with their content in the topsoil without fertilizer.&#x0D; </jats:p

    The reaction of spring rape to the abiotic conditions of the vegetative period, which was manifested by a change in the chemical composition of the seeds, was studied. Among defined 70 chemical elements, 37 were contained in fewer quantities in the seeds of 2015 year harvest, compared to the content in the seeds of 2014 year.</jats:p

    Predictions of produced water quality and quantity for spatially-distributed wells in Niobrara formation

    2012 Fall.Includes bibliographical references.Two main problems facing the oil and gas industry are the availability of water for well construction and disposal of the produced water. Produced water is typically only treated for a limited number of constituents, and common disposal options have been deep well injection, evaporation or discharge to wastewater treatment plants. However, because of factors such as regulations, local water shortage, and bans on disposal via deep well injection, the future will require much of the produced water be treated and eventually recycled and reused for future field development or other beneficial uses. Multiple cost effective produced water treatment methods have been developed but limited research has been done to understand produced water production volumes and quality from oil and gas fields. Accurate predictions of produced water volumes and quality over a period of time can be used to optimize design and siting of water handling and treatment facilities in a spatially heterogeneous shale oil and gas field. The information can also be used to model availability of water resources and plan long term recycling strategies for augmenting regional surface water supplies. This study describes protocols to estimate and predict produced water quantity and quality from shale gas wells and applies these to a case study of Noble Energy Inc. wells in Yuma County, CO. Three different protocols of water production prediction were developed based on temporal and spatial variations of water quantity. Dissolution kinetics and geospatial data were used to develop a water quality prediction framework. A Microsoft Excel based tool, which uses a combination of water quantity and quality protocols, was developed to predict water production and total dissolved solids (TDS) from Noble Energy Inc. wells in Yuma County for different field development scenarios. A framework for interactive web based applications based on developed protocols is also provided. This study also provides a framework for development of GIS based web applications, which can provide an analysis platform for producers and consulting firms to predict water production and/or water quality, optimize location of treatment facilities, truck routings and help make other decisions related to water management. The study showed that using decline models to predict water production from shale gas fields will provide better long term predictions rather than using historical production average values. The case study and scenarios used for Noble Energy wells in Yuma County demonstrate that these prediction methods can be used in any other shale gas field by altering decline models and coefficients
