    Apomerantzia gen. n. Type species: Pomerantzia prolata Price, 1971; by present designation. Diagnosis Each peritreme with 6–8 chambers; setae c 2 anterior to c 1; ventrolateral shields fused with coxae III; genital valves with no more than 4 pairs of setae; coxa I with 2 pegs; genu IV with 6 setae; tarsus II with 3–6 solenidia.
