    La presente invenzione ha per oggetto un innovativo dispositivo di stima per gli accumulatori elettrochimici, in grado di fornire misurazioni precise dello stato di carica anche durante il funzionamento delle apparecchiature da essi alimentate. Tale stimatore, il cui principio di funzionamento è basato sull'impiego delle reti neurali, è stato concepito con la finalità di considerare la batteria come una "scatola nera". In tale modo, si è tentato di fornire una soluzione originale al difficoltoso problema della stima dello stato funzionale delle batterie, senza entrare nel merito dei complessi fenomeni chimico-fisici che si manifestano negli accumulatori
