[Correspondence between Meyer Bodansky and Tephia F. Slater - September-October 1940]
Letters between Tephia F. Slater, a school social worker, and Dr. Meyer Bodansky, the Director of Laboratories at the John Sealy Hospital. The second letter from Mrs. Slater, which is dated September 26, 1940, addresses the Superintendent of the John Sealy Hospital. Mrs. Slater recommends a young medical student for admission, and requests information on the Laboratory Technology program. The first letter is a response from Dr. Meyer Bodansky and dated October 2, 1940. He informs Mrs. Slater that the school is not currently accepting students because it is at capacity, however he is willing to take recommendations for the future

Slater v. Baker and Stapleton (C.B. 1767): Unpublished Monographs by Robert D. Miller
The Slater case is the first case imposing liability on a surgeon for performing a procedure without consent. This book reviews what happened, what was presented in court, and why they are so different. It also reviews the context of consent principles and medical experimentation and law of the time. It also provides biographical notes on the persons related to the case. It also reviews how the Slater case has been used in medical, ethical, legal and other publications
Slater-Koster interpolation scheme for actinides
Nous présentons le formalisme de la méthode d'interpolation de Slater-Koster pour des électrons s, p, d et f complètement relativistes. L'application éventuelle de cette méthode aux actinides est discutée.We present the formalism for a fully relativistic Slater-Koster interpolation scheme for s, p, d and f itinerant electrons. The applicability of the method to actinides is discussed

Calculation of negative ions of B, C, N, O and F using noninteger n Slater type orbitals
Combined Hartree-Fock-Roothaan calculations have been performed using noninteger n Slater type orbitals for the ground states of the lowest electron configurations 1s(2)2s(2)2p(n) (2 <= n <= 6) for negative ions of B, C, N, O and F. These results are compared with the corresponding results obtained from the use of integer n Slater type orbitals. All of the nonlinear parameters are fully optimized. The results of calculation of coupling-projection coefficients, orbital and total energies and virial ratios are presented. It is shown that the noninteger n Slater type orbitals, in general, improve the orbital energies
