Kontner Graduated from Springfield College in 1924. Kontner originally came to Springfield College in 1916, but had to leave in early 1919 because his father met with an accident. He participated in WWI in 1918. After the war became a Physical Director in Middletown, Ohio. In 1922 he returned to Springfield College and finished his College course. He died on November 12, 1974
