On Improving Automation by Integrating RFID in the Traceability Management of the Agri-Food Sector
No full textTraceability is a key factor for the agri-food sector. RFID technology, widely adopted for supply chain management, can be used effectively for the traceability management. In this paper, a framework for the evaluation of a traceability system for the agri-food industry is presented and the automation level in an RFID-based traceability system is analyzed and compared with respect to traditional ones. Internal and external traceability are both considered and formalized, in order to classify different environments, according to their automation level. Este número es utilizado en ese país para descalificar a las personas por su orientación sexual y por su identidad de género. El 108 tiene origen en la muerte del locutor de Radio Comuneros, Bernardo Aranda, y en la persecución contra la disidencia sexual ejercida durante la última dictadura paraguaya. Szokol reflexiona sobre el «Caso 108» y expresa la importancia de revertir la alusión a ese número como insulto y convertirlo en símbolo de identidad política, orgullo y memoria.Erwing Augsten Szokol is a researcher and activist, recognized in Paraguay for his work in defense of the rights of the LGBTIQ+ community. No full textVariable preamble sampling is a technique used for accessing the medium in low-power constrained networks such as wireless sensor networks. We provide an optimal bound for power consumption in preamble sampling techniques, and we present a model of this technique as a function of power consumption and time of radio utilization. We compare our model by means of experimental experiences performed with commercially-available hardware.
