This chapter discusses the emerging debate regarding the relationship between the concept of Cognitive Liberty and Human Rights. Starting from these last, this chapter aims to analyze how, the whole relationship between human rights and Cognitive Liberty can change depending on the legislative strategy that one prefers to undertake

Agent Based Modelling is the most interesting and advanced approach for simulating a complex system: in a social context, the single parts and the whole are often very hard to describe in detail. Besides, there are agent based formalisms which allow to study the emergency of social behaviour with the creation and study of models, known as artificial societies. Thanks to the ever increasing computational power, it's been possible to use such models to create software, based on intelligent agents, which aggregate behaviour is complex and difficult to predict, and can be used in open and distributed systems. Data mining is born in the last decades in order to help users in finding useful knowledge from the otherwise overwhelming amount of data available nowadays from the web and the data collected every day by companies. Data Mining techniques can therefore be the keystone to reveal non-trivial knowledge expressed by the initial assumption used to build the micro-level of the model and the structure of the society of agents that emerged from the simulation

INTRODUCTION: Primary lymphomas of appendix are extremely rare tumors. The incidence is 0.015% ofall gastrointestinal lymphomas. PRESENTATION OF CASE: We present a case of a 75 year-old male patient who presented with acuteabdominal pain in the lower right quadrant and fever. DISCUSSION: The patient received laparotomic appendectomy. The definitive histopathological examina-tion revealed the presence of diffuse large cell B-lymphoma of the appendix. The neoplasms of appendixusually manifest clinically with sign and symptoms of acute appendicitis from luminal obstruction(30–50%). Preoperative diagnosis is difficult and often occurs through histopathological examination. CONCLUSION: Primary appendiceal lymphoma is rare and there are no clear guidelines for ther-apy. Primary surgical resection followed by post-operative chemotherapy showed high efficacy. Thehistopathological examination of all appendectomy is essential
