Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Summer Program, Kosovo 2019
Unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), also known as drones, offer new capabilities for cultural heritage preservation activities. Student researchers from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University travelled to the Republic of Kosovo for a summer study abroad during 2019. While in Kosovo students applied photogrammetric techniques based upon UAS captured imagery to assist with historical site documentation and cultural heritage preservation. Students created georectified orthomosaics and 3D virtual objects from imagery. This imagery can be used by non-governmental and governmental organizations for cultural heritage preservation purposes

The Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University AIAA Design Build Fly Club is a student based club that participates every year in the Cessna-Raytheon AIAA Design Build Fly Competition. The club allows engineering students from all backgrounds participate in designing, building and flying an aircraft using knowledge learned from engineering coursework. VEX Robotics Program at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University
The VEX Robotics program at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University competes as a part of VEX U competitions, hosted by VEX Robotics Competition. The VEX Robotics program competes with more than 300 teams from all around the world. Based on VEX Robotics Competition for middle and high school students, the VEX Robotics program is allowed more customization and greater flexibility than other grade levels while providing the effective costs and real-world limitations of a restricted development environment. This Year’s VEX Robotics Competition is called Turning Point. The object of the game is to attain a higher score than the opposing Alliance by high scoring or low scoring caps, toggling flags, and by alliance parking or center parking robots on platforms. Prescott’s two teams (gold and blue) compete against each other and other regional teams, with the end goal of competing at VEX World Championships in April, to attempt to win the 2019 VEX University World Championship. Organizational Diversity Audit on Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University
This research project is an organizational diversity audit conducted on Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. The research is collaboratively collected by four undergraduate students of the Embry-Riddle College of Business, and is based on information gathered through trusted Internet sources and personal experiences of the research team which also includes one university employee. Additional information was found in the student handbook, in the employee policies and procedures, in the university’s training materials, journal articles and in the course textbook “Managing Diversity” by Michalle E. Mor Barak. The audit includes an Optimal Diversity and Inclusion System Check-Up and a Diversity and Inclusion Audit Check-Up. Furthermore, the audit report releases the results of interviews of current faculty and staff from the university about the diversity and inclusion culture of the institution.
