    Burton-Wood: in a series of letters, by a lady (Mrs. - Cox nee Wight), London (printed for the author by H.D.Steel) 1783, vol.11 (octovo vol, leather bound) Enclosed: note The book Burtonwood was written by the mother of Mary Ann Cox who ran the first coach from Hobart to Launceston. It was passed on to me by her grand-daughter Miss Dora Clerk of Malahide. I also am a grand-daughter of Mrs. Cox. Joan Harvey (John Edward Cox m. Mary Ann Halls V.D.L. 1821 J.E.C. started Hobart-Launceston coach) - (note - Mrs. Harvey's identification of the author of the volume was based on family tradition although not confirmed - no details are known of John Edward Cox's parents) Poems by C(harles) Best c 1847 - 1849 Includes poems to Miss Wilmot (Georgiana Wilmot, - Mrs. C.     COAHR 30th Anniversary Event. A speech given by Mary Ann Smith during the 30th Anniversary of Committee on Appeal for Human Rights. Mary Ann Smith discusses her perspective on the movement and discusses how the Civil Rights Movement was able to make significant changes through civil disobedience, voter registration, and economic boycotts. She highlights the struggles that they and others faced during the movement, including fighting against colonialism and learning about the Constitution of the United States. 3 pages

    The Master's recital of Mary Ann Zacarias was given at 3pm on June 1st, 2014 in the CSULA Music Hall. It consisted of sixty minutes of music that incorporated five style periods (Baroque, Classical, Romantic, Modern, and Post-Modern) and four languages (Italian, French, German, and English). This was given in fulfillment of Masters of Music of Vocal Performance at CSULA. This paper represents the collective program notes from the Master's Recital of soprano, Mary Ann Zacarias. The musical pieces in this program were composed Cimarosa, Gluck, Scarlatti, Pergolesi, Fauré, Duparc, Offenbach, Menotti, Libby Larsen, Schoenberg, and Poulenc. The musical selections for this project report were chosen to best prepare the student for her future endeavors in singing, as well as to represent varying musical periods and styles. This project report is a presentation of the historical research gathered by the author to prepare for her project

The collection documents both Ruby Doris Smith Robinson's and Mary Ann Smith Wilson's participation in the civil rights movement and the organizations with which they were affiliated. Although the collection documents both sisters' activities, the bulk of the collection reflects Ruby Doris Smith Robinson’s activism activities in the civil rights movement.
