A 0.25mm<sup>2</sup> Resistor-Based Temperature Sensor with an Inaccuracy of 0.12°C (3σ) from -55°C to 125°C and a Resolution FOM of 32fJK<sup>2</sup>
Temperature sensors based on Wheatstone bridges, e.g. [1,2], have recently achieved higher resolution and greater energy efficiency than conventional BJT-based sensors [3]. However, this comes at the expense of area, making them less attractive in industrial applications. This paper presents a Wheatstone-bridge sensor that uses a zoom-ADC architecture to reduce area (by 3x over [2]) and achieve state-of-the-art energy-efficiency for an integrated temperature sensor. A CMOS Dual-RC frequency reference with ±250ppm inaccuracy from -45°C to 85°C
To comply with wired communication standards such as USB, SATA and PCI/PCI-E, systems-on-chip require frequency references with better than 300ppm accuracy. LC-based references achieve 100ppm accuracy [1], but suffer from high power consumption (∼20mW). Thermal diffusivity (TD) references require less power (∼2mW), at the expense of less accuracy (1000ppm) [2]. RC-based references offer the lowest power consumption, but their accuracy is typically limited to ∼0.1% [3]. In RC relaxation oscillators, comparator offset and delay are the major sources of inaccuracy [4,5]. API Generation for Multiparty Session Types, Revisited and Revised Using Scala 3 (Artifact)
Construction and analysis of distributed systems is difficult. Multiparty session types (MPST) constitute a method to make it easier. The idea is to use type checking to statically prove deadlock freedom and protocol compliance of communicating processes. In practice, the premier approach to apply the MPST method in combination with mainstream programming languages has been based on API generation. With this artifact, and the companion paper, we revisit and revise this approach.
Regarding our "revisitation", using Scala 3, we present the existing API generation approach, which is based on deterministic finite automata (DFA), in terms of both the existing states-as-classes encoding of DFAs as APIs, and a new states-as-type-parameters encoding; the latter leverages match types in Scala 3. Regarding our "revision", also using Scala 3, we present a new API generation approach that is based on sets of pomsets instead of DFAs; it crucially leverages match types, too. Our fresh perspective allows us to avoid two forms of combinatorial explosion resulting from implementing concurrent subprotocols in the DFA-based approach. We implement our approach in a new API generation tool, called Pompset. This artifact contains Pompset
CAOS: A Reusable Scala Web Animator of Operational Semantics (Software Artefact)
<p>This software artefact accompanies a paper entitled <em>"CAOS: A Reusable Scala Web Animator of Operational Semantics"</em>, accepted at the COORDINATION 2023 conference. It includes a set of libraries in the Scala language that support the creation of web-based frontends that analyse Domain Specific Languages (DSL), with dedicated libraries to reason over operational rules and to produce visual diagrams.</p>
<p>All source code of CAOS can also be found online at https://github.com/arcalab/CAOS, where you can also find links to these and many other examples that use CAOS. <p>All these 3 projects were described in the paper. Each project folder includes all source code, a pre-compiled version, and instructions on how to recompile. The source code of CAOS is replicated in every project, within the sub-folder `lib/caos`. This redundancy illustrates how CAOS is meant to be used: as a library for an hosting project.</p>
<p>The extended `readme.md` document further includes instructions to:</p>

<li>run the pre-compiled JS to replicate the results in the companion paper; and</li>
<li>recompile the JS for each project.</li>
