He wears a striped coat buttoned at the top and a cravat under his white collared shirt. The name E. Morris Cloake is handwritten in pencil on the back of the photo. The photographer, J. W. Moser, and the location of the studio, Smyrna, Delaware, are printed on the back, along with the words, "Duplicates furnished any time." There is a two-cent orange tax stamp canceled with the photographer's mark. The border of the stamp, using abbreviations, reads, "United States Internal Revenue Bank Check, 2 Cents.
