Insect-plant interactions are modulated by a number of factors regulating plant metabolism and response. In fact, the attacking
herbivore is the first source of molecules active on plants, with the secretions necessary for its feeding activity. Among these, sali-
vary secretions and gut regurgitate play a key role. Thus, the insect feeding produces a mechanical damage that activates plant
signaling, and this is reinforced by elicitors delivered at the feeding site. The network of molecular pathways underlying the plant
metabolic response is further conditioned by the microbiota associated with plants

No full textIl volume contribuisce allo studio della letteratura d’istruzione sviluppatasi in area germanica nel corso del Medioevo (anche attraverso la ricezione della tradizione classica) e della prima età moderna. Il concetto di istruzione, inteso come 'condivisione del sapere', è declinato nella sua accezione più ampia ed il volume comprende contributi che contemplano le diverse aree linguistico-letterarie germaniche (inglese, tedesca, sassone, scandinava) e diversi generi letterari (glosse, testi catechetici o religiosi, trattati scientifici e grammaticali, filosofici, storici, pedagogici), evidenziando il fine dell'istruzione e dell'educazione nel Medioevo e nella prima età moderna

Full text linkDeletion 22q11.2 syndrome (Del22) (DiGeorge/Velo-Cardio-Facial syndrome) is
characterized by congenital heart defect (CHD), palatal anomalies, facial
dysmorphisms, neonatal hypocalcemia, immune deficit, speech and learning
disabilities. CHD is present in 75% of patients with Del22. The most frequently seen
cardiac malformations are “conotruncal” defects, including tetralogy of Fallot (TF),
pulmonary atresia with ventricular septal defect (PA-VSD), truncus arteriosus (TA),
interrupted aortic arch (IAA), and ventricular septal defect (VSD). The study of the
specific “cardiac phenotype” in patients with Del22 shows that a particular cardiac
anatomy can be identied in these subjects. In addition to CHD, various organ
systems can be involved, so that a multidisciplinary approach is needed in the
