Introduction Over 310 000 women gave birth in Australia in 2016, with approximately 80 000 births in the state of Victoria. While most of these births occur in metropolitan Melbourne and other large regional centres, a significant proportion of Victorian women birth in local rural health services. The Victorian state government recently mandated the provision of a maternal and neonatal emergency training programme, called Maternal and Newborn Emergencies (MANE), to rural and regional maternity service providers across the state. MANE aims to educate maternity and newborn care clinicians about recognising and responding to clinical deterioration in an effort to improve clinical outcomes. This paper describes the protocol for an evaluation of the MANE programme. Methods and analysis This study will evaluate the effectiveness of MANE in relation to: clinician confidence, skills and knowledge; changes in teamwork and collaboration; and consumer experience and satisfaction, and will explore and describe any governance changes within the organisations after MANE implementation. The Kirkpatrick Evaluation Model will provide a framework for the evaluation. The participants of MANE, 27 rural and regional Victorian health services ranging in size from approximately 20 to 1000 births per year, will be invited to participate. Baseline data will be collected from maternity service staff and consumers at each health service before MANE delivery, and at four time-points post-MANE delivery. There will be four components to data collection: a survey of maternity services staff; follow-up interviews with Maternity Managers at health services 4 months after MANE delivery; consumer feedback from all health services collected through the Victorian Healthcare Experience Survey; case studies with five regional or rural health service providers. Ethics and dissemination This evaluation has been approved by the La Trobe University Science, Health and Engineering College Human Ethics Sub-Committee. Findings will be presented to project stakeholders in a deidentified report, and disseminated through peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations
Indian Constitution act and Status of Women in Society
In this article discussed Constitution Act and Status of women in Indian society. The author also highlighted the constitutional provisions of India protecting the rights and interests of women and other measures adopted by the government to ensure women's right to equality and provide them equal opportunities to raise their status in society. The education of women in India plays a significant role in improving livings standards in the country. A higher women literacy rate improves the quality of life both at home and outside the home, by encouraging and promoting education of children, especially female children, and in reducing the infant mortality rate (T. Balasubramanian 2021). the government took great steps to bring about changes in the social, economic and political conditions of women. Even today in a country like India where customs and traditions are given more importance, these measures cannot be said to be fully implemented in the society, however, women have experienced gradual changes over the years and they have been huge more independent and aware today. The 73rd Amendment believed that women's social and economic conditions could not be improved unless they were given political power. The new Panchayati Raj was an attempt to empower women at least at the village level
HOW TO COMBINE MANE (AN ORIGINAL CAD ASSISTANT FOR CAR BODY DESIGN) WITH TESTING METHODS TO REINVENT THE URBAN CAR
The automobile signifies freedom of movement within cities but in the future it requires a radical reinvention. MANE program which is based on an algorithm developed by the author allows a fast and simple ergonomic evaluation of the car cockpit for each new proposal made by the stylist. To reduce the size of the cockpit the author proposes the concept of quasi-vertical driving position. Based on this principle there were made a series of tests on two types of stands using two types of seats adapted to provide quasi-vertical working positions. This promises to be a future solution to provide comfortable travel conditions and in addition to significantly reduce the length of the vehicle
Em direção da configuração das subjetividades políticas da Mesa Amplia Nacional Estudantil (MANE): os jovens protagonistas de ação
During 2011, they were held several demonstrations of young people of both public and private universities, against the proposed education reform of Law 30 of 1992 by the government of President Juan Manuel Santos, settling the Wide Board National Student (MANE). The marches and collective actions of young officers of the board, allowed the society to have a different image of the student movement, because of the creativity and the realization of their ideas to defend education. Therefore, the question for the configuration of political subjectivities of MANE arises through the methodological resource of critical analysis of discourse , showing that the actions of young people were recognized in society and that readings on the social and educational reality in the country, allowed them reflected upon as political subjects. To analyze the configuration of political subjectivities, the theoretical contributions of the researchers Juliana Cubides, Alcira Aguilera and author Norbert Lechner, who conceptualized this category based on social andstudent movements, which allowed the way to understand how young people have been involved in society, implementing nursing care struggling to transform education. Exploring Bela, in Gujarat, India
This video explores the 3D laser scanning data obtained in Bela, a historic village located in Gujarat, India in 2021. This is part of the AHRC and DCMS funded project: 'A sustainable re-construction method for seismic-prone heritage areas of India based on advanced recording technologies'. In this project, we are using advanced recording technologies and social surveys to develop a sustainable re-construction method for seismic-prone heritage settlements of Gujarat. Capturing the built environment using 3D-laser-scanning-also known as LiDAR-gives an accurate, fast and comprehensive digital data set, measurable and coloured 3D point-cloud with a precision of millimetres, which has been combined with inhabitant’s interviews. This enhanced digital model of the case study, the village of Bela, offers a basis for damage assessments, improving the chances of a rapid and effective response in case of an earthquake, as well as offering a technical platform for risk mitigation measures and community engagement, aiming to increase resilience. The methodology is scalable and applicable to other identified heritage settlements in Gujarat, India.
