Since 1999, the Generational Meetings Laboratory has been proposing research/experimentation on "intergenerational tourism" in different national contexts, collaborating with the A.R.I.P.T. Fo.R.P. Association (Interdisciplinary Research Association of Tourism Psychology - Training, Research, Planning). Following the guidelines provided by the Managers in Environment and Intergenerational Tourism, these multi-theoretical and multi-methodological studies have used the Law 107/2015 for the Alternating School Work: from 2016 in Sfruz -Trento- and San Pellegrino Terme -Bergamo-; from 2018 in Chiusi -Siena- and Viterbo. The general training objectives pursued by the project are as follows: the enrichment of the personality of the students, through the relationship with the sensitivities of the small group of the elderly; the interaction between young and elderly people in a phase of identity crisis of the adolescent and the retired; the acquisition of skills for the knowledge of the territory (through intergenerational communication) in its historical, economic, social and cultural evolution; the enhancement of cultural and environmental heritage; the learning of communication methods often little known to the elderly through computer labs where young people "teach" the elderly. The new role of student-teacher reinforces the identity of the young person, which slowly connote school learning, transversal knowledge and future professional images... Among the main results obtained at national level, the contribution presents those of the research/experiments that -started in 2002- were recently conducted in the area of Viterbo, where the class alternation, currently called "Path for transversal skills and guidance" is configured rather as a cycle of preparatory meetings and motivational intergenerational tourism. Intergenerational tourism in Viterbo stands out for: an intense network work coordinated by Caritas Diocesana in synergy with the Provincial Acli; a themed tourism that evokes traditions, is attentive to the environment and enhances the local history and culture; the continuity of the intergenerational calendar throughout the year. The results confirm the stages of evolution of intergenerational communication introduced by A. Albanese (2001) from the "approach" to "generative creativity"; the latter is expressed in Viterbo in the pact between generations in favour of local communities and the environment. Intergenerational tourism is thus outlined as one of the new thematic and quality tourism, attentive to the natural and historical-cultural environment that is "protected", "promoted", "socialized" and "strengthened" through the intergenerational relationship, on the basis of collaborations between organizations and institutions, through active initiatives throughout the year

After an excursus that synthesizes the history of the Generational Meetings Laboratory and A.R.I.P.T. Fo.R.P. in the design, implementation and monitoring of intergenerational tourism research/experimentations carried out on the national territory, this paper briefly reviews the theoretical references and the methodology used. Reference is therefore made to the results obtained in the research/experimentations in Viterbo, to which the most recent training projects of Alternanza Scuola Lavoro for high school students (today PCTO) have also contributed. Despite the specificity of each research/experimentation, a common model has been identified in the evolution of the relationships between the participants. This model of intergenerational communication develops according to the phases of "rapprochement", "knowledge" and "empathy" (Albanese, 2001). In Viterbo "City for Fraternity" the research results are characterized by a rich dimension of values: - "objectified" according to the Theory of Social Representations (Moscovici, 1961/1976) in an Intergenerational Values and Environmental Education Path; - highlighted by values evoked by the participants such as: altruism, friendship, sharing, brotherhood, integration, solidarity, union, family, etc. It exposes the PCTO carried out in 2018/2019 in Viterbo in accordance with a network agreement between A.R.I.P.T. Fo.R.P., ACLI, Caritas, Liceo delle Scienze Umane e Liceo Musicale “Santa Rosa da Viterbo” for the knowledge and intergenerational valorization of goods and environment. A particular focus is reserved to the stage of the Teatro dell'Unione, with its high symbolic value, as well as historical, artistic and cultural. The article highlights the specific objectives agreed with the School and illustrates the design and implementation of the training course in the various stages of implementation. The description of the activities carried out leaves room for the protagonists: the school as an essential part of a wider network made up of public and private bodies that have been supporting the projects in Viterbo since 2002. The evaluation of the work carried out in 2019 has inspired the creation of a small book including narratives and images on the memory of the City of Viterbo through the Teatro dell'Unione. Some hypotheses are formulated for the development of the project for the next school years, according to the slogan coined in 2019: "Grandparents and Grandchildren: the Union is the strength

In this work, we analyze the conception of the space elaborated by Henri Lefebvre between the late fifties and the first half of the seventies, seeking to identify the most important theoretical and political articulations and their possible developments. The first chapter is devoted to Lefebvre’s analysis of Fordist metropolis: the role of the space in the production of everydayness, as a systemic organization of social reproduction. The second chapter examines the transition to “urban society”: the progressive explosion of Keynesian-Fordist space and the formation of a new class subject, irreducible to the image of the industrial proletarian. The third chapter deepens the constructivist conception of the space developed by Lefebvre, and the hypothesis of a critique of the political economy of the space. A path that leads to the description of an articulated and complex model of political space, focusing on the process of urbanization, rescaling and globalization. The dissertation shows comprehensively the theoretical movement, which from the examination of a Keynesian-Fordist spatiality leads Lefebvre to the analysis of the emerging “neoliberal space”, to critically discuss its actuality.

In this paper, we will focus on one of the most active and successful artists in the contemporary Slovenian theatre, the dramatist Simona Semenič, and one of her most theoretically intriguing texts, the feast or the story of a savory corpse or how roman abramovič, the character janša, julia kristeva, age 24, simona semenič and the initials z. i. found themselves in a tiny cloud of tobacco smoke (2010). We will look at how the text affects the viewer/reader, whom the author directly and constantly addresses through the character of the narrator. Based on an analysis of the form and content of the selected text, we will assess to what extent it can be classified as no-longer-dramatic text (Poschmann) or as “dramatic drama” (dramatisches Drama – Birgit Haas) and put in the field of postdramatic theatre (Lehmann). The paper aims to analyse the (no longer or again?) dramatic form of the feast, the specifics of the author’s writing style and the construction of the text. On the other hand, it also aims to explain the author’s methods of emphasizing the ethical and moral responsibility of those involved (especially the readers/ viewers) in the happening

This chapter surveys key aspects of Anglo-saxon counterterrorism, and assesses their implications for the state-form. Specifically, it examines: (a) the legal definition of terrorism as a politically motivated crime, which defines all counterterrorism law and policy; (b) the reconfiguration of the rule of law into a novel law-form termed authoritarian legality; (c) the expansion of surveillance powers and the rise in prominence of the intelligence apparatus, leading to total intelligence; and (d) the platforms for popular involvement in counterterrorism, in which new citizen (and enemy) subjectivities are forged. These aspects of counterterrorism are unified in their primary consideration with popular politics; and are inscribed in a strategy of pre-emption. This shared orientation grants coherence to counterterrorism polic

Sulle tracce della memoria. Il memoriale della shoah di Berlino

    No full text
The paper focuses on the current conditions of the Shoah’s memory transmission. The purpose is to point out the frames where a contemporary theory and praxis of the collective memory can be formulated. The first section, reffering to most recent studies, shows both components caracterizing today’s process of memorizing the Shoah: the passagge from memory to post-memory (Hirsh) and the whirling increase of the chance to record and reproduce the past (Derrida, Ferraris). In the second secion, referring to this theoretical frame, I analyse the radical trasformations of the monument as the traditional media of the european public memory. The reference to the empirical case of the Denkmal für die ermordeten Juden Europas, the Shoah’s Memorial designed by Peter Eisenman, underlines the shift from monument to counter-monument (Young, J. E.) by materializing both the troubles and an inventive strategy to exit the saturation of the current memorial speech
