No full textIn Zusammenhang mit der Behauptung, dass Juden und Heiden gemeinsam am Bunde Gottes teilhaftig sind, wird der Römerbrief von Paulus von einem heilsgeschichtlichen Zug gekennzeichnet. In der Dynamik der Einführung der bisher ausgeschlossenen Heiden in die Liebe Gottes in Christus haben die Motive der Herrlichkeit und des Verherrlichen eine zentrale Bedeutung. Paulus unterscheidet dabei drei verschiedene Schritte: erstens der gemeinsame Grund des Naturgesetzes, zweitens die vorherige Wirkung der Barmherzigkeit Gottes und drittens die gegenseitige Annahme aller Gläubigen in die Kirche.Stating that Jews and gentiles alike are called to share in God’s covenant, Paul’s Letter to the Romans is characterized by a perspective of salvation history. The motives of glory and glorifying play a central role in the dynamics of introducing the formerly excluded gentiles into the Love of God in Christ. Paul lines this process out in three stages: first the common ground of natural law, second the previous working of the mercy of God and third the mutual acceptance of all faithful in the Church

Z tej perspektywy skąpe stwierdzenia Świętej Teresy mogą być włączone w spójną doktrynę rozeznawania duchów opartą na jej głębokim doświadczeniu religijnym. Rozeznawanie jawi się jako rdzeń życia chrześcijańskiego i ważny sposób, w jaki Boski Przyjaciel daje światło dla wyborów, które sprawiają, że ludzie wzrastają w cnotach i w wewnętrznej wolności.Saint Teresa of Ávila intrinsically connects discernment of the spirits with her principal theme of inner prayer.
