b-Generalized Skew Derivations on Multilinear Polynomials in Prime Rings

    No full text
Let R be a prime ring of characteristic different from 2, Qr be its right Martindale quotient ring and C be its extended centroid. In this paper we define b-generalized skew derivations of prime rings. Then we describe all possible forms of two b-generalized skew derivations F and G satisfying the condition F(x)x − xG(x) = 0, for all x ∈ S, where S is the set of the evaluations of a multilinear polynomial f(x1, ..., xn) over C with n non-commuting variables. Several potential research topics related to our current work are also presented. © 2021, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG

La tentazione dello spazio. Estetica e psicoanalisi dell'inorganico

At the bottom of the art is the stone, the bone, the crystal. What we propose is an aesthetic of numbness. Inertia, the dismissal of life, the temptation of space, the seduction of the inorganic: these are the conceptual characters we meet in these pages. It is a question of breaking the solemnity of a ritual of thought. Centuries of reflection have accustomed us to thinking of aesthetic experience as the abode of subjective expressiveness, as a vital emphasis, as the face of moved and moved interiority. To break this rite, it is necessary to subvert the way in which we look at the creative act, it is necessary to grasp it no longer from the side of effervescence and suspended life, but from that of collapse, of falling, of fainting. The aesthetic experience is the place of a loss, of a step back in life, of a failure and a sale of body parts. Postures that capture the subject in the drift of enjoyment, in an inertia of the vital impulse. Against all stereotypes, art gives us the luxury of dying, art touches the inorganic. And in this shelter it discovers unprecedented budding forms.

Let R be a prime ring of characteristic different from 2, Q(r) its right Martindale quotient ring, L a non-central Lie ideal of R (i.e., L,R not equal 0), n >= 1 a fixed integer, F and G two generalized skew derivations of R, associated with the same automorphism alpha of R. If (F(xy)-G(x)y)(n) = 0, for any x,y is an element of L, then there exists a is an element of Q(r) such that , for any x is an element of R, unless when R satisfies the standard polynomial identity s(4)(x(1), ..., x(4))

Generalized Skew Derivations and Nilpotent Values on Lie Ideals

Let R be a prime ring of characteristic different from 2 and 3, Qr be its right Martindale quotient ring and C be its extended centroid. Suppose that F and G are generalized skew derivations of R, L a non-central Lie ideal of R and n ≥ 1 a fixed positive integer. Under appropriate conditions we prove that if (F(x)x-xG(x))n = 0 for all x L, then one of the following holds: (a) there exists c Qr such that F(x) = xc and G(x) = cx; (b) R satisfies s4 and there exist a, b, c Qr such that F(x) = ax + xc, G(x) = cx + xb and (a-b)2 = 0

The Role of Proteolysis in Amyloidosis

Amyloidoses are a group of diseases associated with deposits of amyloid fibrils in different tissues. So far, 36 different types of amyloidosis are known, each due to the misfolding and accumulation of a specific protein. Amyloid deposits can be found in several organs, including the heart, brain, kidneys, and spleen, and can affect single or multiple organs. Generally, amyloid-forming proteins become prone to aggregate due to genetic mutations, acquired environmental factors, excessive concentration, or post-translational modifications. Interestingly, amyloid aggregates are often composed of proteolytic fragments, derived from the degradation of precursor proteins by yet unidentified proteases, which display higher amyloidogenic tendency compared to precursor proteins, thus representing an important mechanism in the onset of amyloid-based diseases. In the present review, we summarize the current knowledge on the proteolytic susceptibility of three of the main human amyloidogenic proteins, i.e., transthyretin, β-amyloid precursor protein, and α-synuclein, in the onset of amyloidosis. We also highlight the role that proteolytic enzymes can play in the crosstalk between intestinal inflammation and amyloid-based diseases

    Gold nanoparticles-based protease assay

We describe here a simple assay that allows the visual detection of a protease. The method takes advantage of the high molar absorptivity of the plasmon band of gold colloids and is based on the color change of their solution when treated with dithiols. We used C- and N-terminal cysteinyl derivatives of a peptide substrate exploiting its selective recognition and cleavage by a specific protease. Contrary to the native ones, cleaved peptides are unable to induce nanoparticles aggregation; hence, the color of the solution does not change. The detection of two proteases is reported: thrombin (involved in blood coagulation and thrombosis) and lethal factor (an enzyme component of the toxin produced by Bacillus anthracis). The sensitivity of this nanoparticle-based assay is in the low nanomolar range

The study deals with the experimentation, through Drawing, of a method for re-knowing a geocultural landscape, made such by the coexistence of History, resources and environmental risks. By carrying out a philological analysis, the reinterpretation of the territory takes place through analog, pregeodetic and geodetic cartographic visions. The information returned makes up a container of narratives, that is, a geodatabase of digital historical systems, organized in the GIS environment according to a new Use Card of the Represented Territory. Alphanumeric data are displayed in a series of mappings, synthesis of the process of representing the past and the place as it is today; their query shows their identity remains, any support for identifying environmental risk scenario
