Evolution of slope, alluvial fan and filled valley systems related to the Alfocea Juslibol escarpment are analysed. Palaeogeographic and palaeoenvironmental data obtained from this analysis can be useful in reconstructing the Upper Holocene evolution of this sector of the Ebro valley. In the Alfocea, Miranda and Señora filled valleys, a sequence of three sedimentary stages has been es tablished. Firstly, a well-developed stage, going from the Late Neolithic to the Late Roman Age (3000 BCE – 4th century CE); a second, Medieval – Post Medieval epoch stage, and, finally, a more scarcely represented Recent stage. These data can be compared with the available geoarchaeological information from nearby areas in order to assess the climatic and/or human factors trigge ring the accumulation processes, as well as to evaluate the significance of the lateral movement of the Ebro River

A geo-archaeological model based on various environmental factors was developed for the Wadi Mujib area near the site of Lehun (Jordan). A DEM and a lithological map based on respectively a topographical and a geological map were prepared and integrated into a GIS. Since the geomorphology of the area is of primary, importance to archaeological site prediction an inventory of relevant relief information was extracted from a geomorphological map based on very high resolution and stereoscopic Russian TK350 images. These images offer an interesting alternative for conventional stereoscopic aerial photographs on scale 1:50,000 or smaller due to the high quality, the easy image processing, the large covered area, the availability and the sure and quick delivery,. After integration of the scanned geomorphological map the GIS finally comprised eight factor layers. A simple addition of these information layers resulted in a probability map for geo-archaeology showing the spatial variance of the probability, for archaeological evidence in the area. In the frame of the construction of a dam on the Wadi Mujib near the King's Highway the archaeologists can use this mop as a toot for organizing rescue research in a quick and efficient way

The healthcare sector is Sweden's most crucial sector. With the daily increase of people seeking medical care, healthcare needs to have a well-functioning system suitable for databases, aiming to minimize the current burden the healthcare system already faces. The regions have different systems, which leads to increased costs when operating and updating these systems. Healthcare today needs more time on slow and ineffective systems, but the focus must be on the patients. This work aims to develop reliable technology that creates the best conditions for healthcare to manage patient information by implementing the best database methods. ADO and Dapper are the two ORMs that this study deals with, and a comparison between these ORMs has been made to answer the following questions: speed, code complexity, performance, and flexibility. These goals that this work focuses on will give a clear picture to the other developers at the later development phases of these systems on which pros and cons each technology has and which one is most suitable to bet on depending on the need. The study showed that ADO generally had better saturation results regarding speed but less good results than Dapper regarding code complexity. Dapper had some performance concerns; however, it was easier to build on thanks to its flexibility as an ORM

Currently, tourism is taking on new horizons, demand from consumers is increasing, and tourism service providers are developing new programs to extend tourist activity. The GADM Riobamba in agreement with the UNACH defined "Good Practices" that must be met by service providers to obtain a quality badge awarded by the municipality. This process required a web system that allows automation to help carry out the self-assessment, evaluation and decision-making process to improve the services offered by the different establishments in Riobamba city. To develop of the system, a comparative analysis between DAPPER and ENTITY FRAMEWORK was carried out to evaluate the performance efficiency of the data access abstraction layer. The indicators were established according to ISO / IEC 25010 standards where a model for the evaluation of software quality is established, these being: temporal behavior, resource utilization and capacity, using two tools; 1) Jmeter with the PerfMon extension and 2) System.Diagnostics library with the TimeSpan and PerformanceCounter methods which allowed capturing the response times and resource used of the previously established parameters. With the results obtained by measuring the metrics in the two prototypes, it was determined that DAPPER improves the performance efficiency in the data access abstraction layer, implemented the ORM in the Tourism Good Practices System of the Riobamba canton.
