PROPOSED MARKETING STRATEGY FOR FASHION SOCKS COMPANY TO ENTER THE GLOBAL MARKET THROUGH INTERNET (A CASE STUDY : YOUR SOCKS)
Your Socks is one of the wholesale socks companies located in Bandung since 2013. The concept of the brand is to fulfill all the needs and desires of customers about socks and pack them in a dozen with many variations in patterns and colors. Your socks already have a large market and a sales performance of Your Socks is very good in Indonesia and Your Socks want to expand market overseas. This research was conducted to find the best strategy how to enter the global market through the internet. This study applies several concepts such as, STP analysis, 4P marketing mix, root-cause analysis, House of quality and TOWS matrix analysis. After further analysis, it can be seen that business problems faced by companies are non-specific target markets in global markets, lack of knowledge about global markets, poor international promotion and low distribution channels. To overcome the problems as described, several strategies are made. Re-analyzing STP using data collection from market research and improving production and promotion performance in global markets can increase brand awareness, increase sales, and more easily enter global markets. Business implementation that focuses on redesigning new products according to consumer desires, packaging, increasing production activities, conducting several promotional activities, brand collaboration, charity collaboration, and developing new distribution channels and building the latest market place, such as joining retail stores in Europe. Vinhais Velho: identidade, história e memória marcadas por impactos socioculturais resultantes da construção da Via Expressa em São Luís - MA
The present research aims to analyze the way in which the Vinhais Velho Community
contemplates the Memorial of the Archaeological Site of Vinhais Velho after the construction
of the Expressway in São Luís-MA having been inaugurated in 2014. In this way, the research
extends to an analysis of a bibliographic, documental nature – in view of the analysis of the
EIA/RIMA – and ethnographic, based on dialogic and polyphonic ethnography. In addition,
field data from the author of moments already experienced in previous and current research
were used, based on this study. To this end, I highlight the Social Agents who closely
experienced the period in which the mega-enterprise was built, between its conflicts and
manifestations. In this way, I intend to explain how the social effects from the construction of
a mega-enterprise interfere in the lives of people who already have their most diverse ways of
life, between daily life, festivities, cultural and social, as well as environmental, haste. Then,
in a synthetic way, speeches of Agents who demonstrate dissatisfaction with having their
environments interfered are described, where the greatest influence on the part of the elite
class is perceived. There is also interference in what corresponds to the insertion of the
Memorial, considering that such action was carried out during a conflicted and troubled
period. In this way, how does the Community analyze and honor this “gift” from the
Government of the Maranhão of State?A presente pesquisa tem como objetivo analisar a forma pela qual a Comunidade Vinhais
Velho contempla o Memorial do Sítio Arqueológico do Vinhais Velho após a construção da
Via Expressa em São Luís-MA tendo sido inaugurado no ano de 2014. Desta forma, a
pesquisa se estende a uma análise de cunho bibliográfico, documental – tendo em vista a
análise do EIA/RIMA – e etnográfico, levando como base a etnografia dialógica e polifônica.
Ademais, foram utilizados dados de campo da autora de momentos já vivenciados em
pesquisas anteriores e os atuais, pautados neste estudo. Para tanto, destaco os Agentes Sociais
que vivenciaram de perto o período em que o megaempreendimento foi construído, entre seus
conflitos e manifestações. Desta forma, pretendo explanar como os efeitos sociais a partir da
construção de um megaempreendimento interferem na vida de pessoas que já possuem seus
mais diversos modos de vida, entre cotidianos, festejos, apreço cultural e social, bem como
ambiental. São descritas, então, de forma sintética, falas de Agentes que demonstram a
insatisfação em terem seus ambientes interferidos, onde percebe-se a maior influência por
parte da classe elitizada. Percebe-se também interferências no que condiz a inserção do
Memorial, tendo em vista que tal ação foi realizada durante um período conflituoso e
conturbado. Desta forma, como a Comunidade analisa e prestigia este “presente” do Governo
do Estado do Maranhão
