Synchronisation de l'oestrus chez les femelles zébus Goudali au CRZ de Wakwa (Cameroun)
No full textLe but du présent rapport est d'établir un bilan des travaux concernant la maîtrise de l'oestrus chez le zébu Goudali de Ngaoundéré, réalisés au CRZ de Wakwa (station et villages) par diverses méthodes (Noréthandrolone seule ou associée aux oestrogènes, PGF2a, Implants sous cutanés Norgestomet) de 1970 à 1985. Les taux de conception à l'oestrus induit varient avec la méthode, l'année et l'état physiologique des femelles. Ces taux sont généralement faibles, particulièrement avec la noréthandrolone seule (31,7% en 1971, 34,4% en 1973). Les meilleurs résultats ont été obtenus avec les implants sous cutanés utilisés seuls (42,5% en 1983, 41% en 1984), tandis que les plus mauvais taux résultaient de l'utilisation de la noréthandrolone associée aux oestrogènes (1,3% à 5,3% en 1970, 26,8% en 1971, 25,7% en 1972 et 12,5% en 1973), et la PGF2a (17,1% en 1983 et 15% en 1984). Ces travaux, conduits aussi bien en station qu'en élevage traditionnel, ont montré que la recherche de l'indépendance vis-à-vis de la détection des chaleurs conduit en général à une baisse des taux de conception (12,5 à 42,5%) comparativement aux chaleurs naturelles (28 à 51%)
BumbleBee: A Refactoring Environment for Spreadsheet Formulas
No full text<p>Spreadsheets are widely used in industry. It is estimated that end-user programmers outnumber regular programmers by a factor of 5. However, spreadsheets are error-prone: several reports exist of companies that have lost big sums of money due to spreadsheet errors. In previous work, spreadsheet smells have proven to be the cause of some of these errors.</p>
<p>To that end, we have developed a tool that can apply refactorings to spreadsheet formulas, implementing our previous work on spreadsheet refactoring, which showed that spreadsheet formula smells are very common and that refactorings for them are widely applicable and that refactoring them with a tool is both quicker and less error-prone.</p>
<p>Our new tool Bumblebee is able to execute refactorings originating from both these papers, by means of an extensible syntax, and can furthermore apply refactorings on entire groups of formulas, thus improving upon the existing tool RefBook. Finally, BumbleBee can also execute transformations other than refactorings.</p>

Usefulness of 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose Positron Emission Tomography as Predictor of Distant Metastasis in Preoperative Carbon-ion Radiotherapy for Pancreatic Cancer.
No full textAim: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the role of FDG-PET regarding the indication of preoperative carbon-ion radiotherapy (CIRT) for pancreatic cancer patients.
PATIENTS AND METHODS:
Patients with resectable pancreatic cancer underwent preoperative CIRT. The impact of baseline SUVmax on prognosis for patients was assessed by analyzing correlations with distant metastasis-free survival (DMFS) and overall survival (OS).
RESULTS:
Out of 21 patients, local recurrence was observed in no patient and distant metastasis was found in 13 patients (62%). 1-year DMFS and OS in low-SUVmax group were significantly higher than those in high-SUVmax group (91% vs. 20% and 91% vs. 56%). SUVmax was significantly correlated with DMFS and OS.
CONCLUSION:
Our data indicated a significant correlation between SUVmax and DMFS. FDG-PET might be useful for determining the indication of preoperative short-course CIRT for patients with resectable pancreatic cancer.journal articl

pensamiento del filósofo español Julián Marías Aguilera y corresponde a una
visión antropológica personalista. La educación sentimental es el núcleo donde
se encuentra la raíz de todos los demás aspectos vitales. Este artículo pretende
analizar la visión antropológica de la filosofía de Julián Marías, específicamente
en la obra La educación sentimental, y pensar a la persona como una criatura
amorosa. Volver sobre los sentimientos en la persona contribuirá a rescatar una
de las dimensiones más olvidadas y desplazadas por la cultura intelectual, de tal
manera que esta investigación destaca el valor de una antropología filosófica que,
al haber sido pensada y expresada en español, tiene unas posibilidades humanas
que no han sido desarrolladas por otras lenguas en las que se ha hecho filosofía
hasta el siglo XX, con posibilidades de aplicación en el posconflicto colombiano.Sentimental education is o one of the most important nucleus of the Spaniard

vision. Emotional education is the core of other vital aspects in life. This paper
analyzes the anthropological perspective in the philosophy of Julián Marías
especially in his work emotional education, in which he establishes that a person
is loving creature. Going back to the concept of feelings in a person is an effort to
try to rescue one of the most ignored and overlooked dimensions in favor of the
intellectual culture, this research paper points out the value of anthropological
philosophy in Spanish, the use of this language holds human possibilities that
have not been developed in other languages that have been dominant in the field
until the 20th century, bringing about the possibility of using it in the Colombian
