Figure 4. Linear regressions between body weight (g) and home length (m) for 29 individuals of Nectomys squamipes analysed through capture–mark–recapture (CMR). Black circles represent males and grey circles represent females. The top line represents the linear regression for males, while the bottom and dotted line represents the linear regression for females. The regression equations are presented on the figure. HL = home length; BWeight = body weight.Published as part of <i>Lima, Daniela Oliveira, Pinho, Gabriela Medeiros & Fernandez, Fernando A. (a) Males' DSC between seasons; (b) females' DSCs between seasons. The middle line on boxes represents the median; the bottom and top of the boxes represent the first and the third quartiles; the whiskers extend to no more than 1.5 times the interquartile range from the boxes or to the extreme data point. António Pinho Vargas: uma caracterização musical. Inter-relações estéticas e técnicas com a música do próprio autor

    No full text
### Aesthetical and technical interrelations with the music of the author himself. ABSTRACT :This work is comprised of two parts, a dissertation and a musical composition by the author. A study of the music of Antonio Pinho Vargas, in its different shapes, is elaborated, aiming at a global characterization. The focus is on the diatonic tonal/modal characteristics present in the majority of his contemporary erudite compositions. Aesthetical and technical interrelations are established between Pinho Vargas and the music of the author so as to contribute to establish an identity as a forming composer, through a composer with whom the author has a significant musical identification in several domains. Some reflections are thus raised, around aesthetical and technical matters of music composition. As part of this work, a compilation of the music composed by the author throughout the time of his Master’s degree that fit its project theme and an audio cd with this pieces are given, some of this played by musicians, others with synthesized sound
