Wind tunnel test on a 2/3 scale model Felix Octagonal with and without small lift shroud. Gulf Research and Development Company
This report covers the force tests run on the 2/3 Scale Model Felix Octagonal without a lift shroud, and with a small lift shroud. All tests were run at 100 miles per hour in the Daniel Guggenheim Airship Institute"s 6"6" vertical wind tunnel in Akron, Ohio for the Gulf Research & Development Company
Wind tunnel tests on a 2/3 scale model Razon (VB-3) Mark 1
This report covers the force tests run on the 2/3 Scale Model Razon (VB-3). Side force, drag, and yawing moments were measured at zero pitch and various yaw angles. All tests were run at approximately 100 miles per hour in the Daniel Guggenheim Airship Institute"s 6'6" vertical wind tunnel in Akron, Ohio
Wind tunnel tests on a 2/3 scale model Razon (VB-3) Mark 2
This report covers the force tests made on the 2/3 Scale Model Razon (VB-3) Mark 2. The model, which is a variation of the first Razon tested was designed to give more side force at trim for greater controllability. All tests were run at approximately 100 miles per hour in the Daniel Guggenheim Airship Institute"s 6'6" wind tunnel in Akron, Ohio
Pemanfaatan Sumber Informasi Oleh PemustakaDi Perpustakaan Hukum Daniel S. Lev

Progress Report - Tests on Potential Ice Formation on Airfoils
This report covers tests on potential ice formation on airfoils conducted at the Daniel Guggeheim Airship Institute in Akron, Ohio. Two values, identifying the artificial rain, were recorded during the tests on the Institute"s artificial whirling arm
Ear tests on a 2/3 scale model Felix Octagonal (No Shroud)
This report covers tests on the Felix Octagonal, no Shroud, Model at the Daniel Guggenheim Airship Institute, Akron, Ohio, which was fitted with an "ear" at two different locations at the nose of the model, and the "ear" angle was measured with respect to the axis of the model as the model was varied in pitch and yaw. Enough combinations were investigated to enable a fair prediction of this "ear"s" reaction at almost any location around the nose of the model. On the whole, the curves seemed to be reasonable
Roll torque tests 2/3 scale model union switch square tail model. Gulf Research and Development Company
This series of test runs were made on the 2/3 Scale Model Union Switch Square Tail Model to determine the roll torques at various aileron settings and various model positions. An attempt was made to ascertain what minimum aileron angle setting would be required to correct a roll torque produced by placing the model in a combined pitch and yaw condition. The tests were all run at 100 miles per hour in the Daniel Guggenheim Airship Institute"s 6"6" vertical wind tunnel in Akron, Ohio for the Gulf Research & Development Company
Wind tunnel tests on a 2/3 scale model Razon (VB-3) Mark 4B
This report covers the force tests made on the 2/3 Scale Model Razon (VB-3) Mark 2. Side force, drag, and yawing moment were measured on the model at various yaw angles and rudder settings. These forces were also measured on the bare hull of the model after the tail surfaces, ailorons, and supports were removed. All tests were run at approximately 100 miles per hour in the Daniel Guggenheim Airship Institute"s 6'6" wind tunnel in Akron, Ohio
