ULIKAN SOSIOLOGI SASTRA DINA NOVEL-NOVEL SUNDA KARYA TATANG SUMARSONO
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh perlunya usaha penelitian karya-karya sastra Sunda,
terutama karya dari para sastrawan Sunda yang mumpuni, baik secara kualitas maupun
kuantitas. Selain untuk menggali nilai-nilai sastra, juga mengetahui riwayat hidup dan
kepengarangannya yang mempengaruhi karyanya, di antaranya adalah novel-novel
Sunda karya Tatang Sumarsono. Peneltian ini bertujuan menemukan dan
mendeskripsikan aspek-aspek, adalah untuk mendeskripsikan (1) aspek sosiologi
pengarang novel Demung Janggala, Kolébat Kuwung-kuwungan Kinasih Katumbirian,
Galuring Gending, Kakarén Révolusi, dan Mandédurma; (2) aspek sosiologi karya sastra
novel Demung Janggala, Kolébat Kuwung-kuwungan Kinasih Katumbirian, Galuring
Gending, Kakarén Révolusi, dan Mandédurma; dan (3) aspek sosiologi sastra novel
Demung Janggala, Kolébat Kuwung-kuwungan Kinasih Katumbirian, Galuring Gending,
Kakarén Révolusi, dan Mandédurma. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini
adalah metode deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk mencari dan mendeskripsikan data-data
dengan mengaitkan antara sosiologi sastra dengan teks sastra secara teliti. Teknik yang
digunakan adalah teknik studi pustaka dan teknik hermeneutika. Untuk analisis data
digunakan studi dokumentasi (documentary study) dan wawancara (interview). Hasil
penelitian ini menmukan bahwa dalam aspek sosiologi pengarang yang mempengaruhi
karyanya adalah status sosial, ideologi politik, profesi, dan hobi. Dalam aspek sosiologi
karya sastra yang mempengaruhi adalah kritik sosial kepada masyarakat yang tidak
menghargai nilai tradisi, melanggar aturan, merusak alam, mengabaikan nilai
keagamaan (religiusitas), dan pemimpin yang melanggar aturan. Dalam aspek sosiologi
sastra, apresiasi masyarakat sastra terhadap lima novel Sunda tersebut sangat baik serta
memberi pengaruh sosial kepada masyarakat. Melalui penelitian ini maka anggapan
bahwa sastra merupakan cerminan dari kehidupan sosial masarakat, terbukti benar
adanya.

This study was motivated by the need to study Sundanese literary works, especially the
work of qualified Sundanese writers, both in quality and quantity. In addition to
exploring literary values, also know the life history and authorship that influenced his
work, among them were Sundanese novels by Tatang Sumarsono. The purpose of this
study were to describe (1) the sociological aspects of the author in Demung Janggala,
Kolébat Kuwung-kuwungan Kinasih Katumbirian, Galuring Gending, Kakarén Révolusi,
and Mandédurma novels; (2) the sociological aspects of the literary works in Demung
Janggala, Kolébat Kuwung-kuwungan Kinasih Katumbirian, Galuring Gending, Kakarén
Révolusi, and Mandédurma novels; and (3) the sociological aspects of literature in
Demung Janggala, Kolébat Kuwung-kuwungan Kinasih Katumbirian, Galuring Gending,
Kakarén Révolusi, and Mandédurma novels. The method used in this study was a
descriptive method which aimed to find and describe the data by associating between the
sociology of literature and literary texts carefully. While the techniques used were
literature review, hermeneutics, data analysis, documentary, and interview techniques.
The results of this study showed that in the sociological aspects of the author that
influenced his works were social status, political ideology, profession, and hobbies. In the
sociological aspects of literary works that influenced his works were social critiques for
people which often violated the rules, undermined nature, ignored religious values
(religiosity), and leaders who broke the rules. While in the sociological aspects of
literature, the appreciation of the literary community towards the five Sundanese novels
was very good and it gave social influences for people. Through this study, the
assumption that literature was a reflection of the social life, proved true.

A investigation of braking system actuators for electric shuttle bus
An electric bus is an environmentally friendly mass transportation. Commonly an electric bus uses standard air braking system with pneumatic cylinder for the main actuator. Nevertheless, this will consume the space allocation, greater weight as well as higher energy conversion loss. This study focuses on how to implement an electric braking system for electric bus application in order to overcome the problems above. There are steps to achieve the goal. A preliminary observation is conducted for an electric shuttle bus in Universitas Indonesia to obtain the pattern of braking system during period of journey. This data is then utilized to compare the energy consumption for this application. The result shows that electric actuator for braking system is a potential alternative prime mover for a braking system in a vehicle particularly in an electric bus. Substituting the conventional braking system actuator into the proposed one saves 2030 kWs energy, decreases weight into 90% from its conventional system and cuts 700080 cm3 space in the bus design. Therefore, the optimum component to be selected is the aim for the next work

Addressing Fire Safety, Ground Impact Resistance, and Thermal Management in Composite EV Battery Enclosures: A Review
Lithium-ion batteries are fundamental to modern electric vehicles, offering high energy density, long cycle life, and low self-discharge rates. However, thermal runaway—a critical safety issue involving uncontrolled temperature increases—can lead to fire or explosion. Ensuring flame retardancy is crucial in accidents where battery packs are exposed to external fires. Additionally, battery packs are susceptible to mechanical stresses and potential damage from ground impacts like debris or uneven road surfaces. Effective thermal management significantly impacts capacity and longevity. This review emphasizes the importance of researching flame retardancy, ground impact resistance, and thermal management, especially in composite battery enclosures. Composites serve as a lightweight alternative to metals and help overcome one of the main constraints of EVs, which is weight. Ground impact refers to the physical force battery packs endure during collisions, hitting potholes, debris, or accidents. Therefore, understanding the effects of ground impact on battery enclosures is crucial for design considerations. Effective thermal management is also essential, as it directly affects the performance and safety of Lithium-ion battery packs in EVs
