Full text linkThe work that Gadda prepared for publication from the series of broadcasts on Louis XIII-XV of France during 1952 has largely been overlooked by critics.
It is the aim of this article to show that, although there are certain unusual features in the text of I Luigi di Francia
which arise from its origins in radio scripts, the work is recognisably Gaddian in its main stylistic and thematic concerns. In tracing some of the
background to the text, due acknowledgement is made of the scholarly work already done on the history of the text by Gianmarco Gaspari,
the compiler of the Notes on this text for the Garzanti edition of Gadda's Opere; Gaspari's implied conclusion that this is not the least Gaddian of the author's work, and his important conclusions about the degree to which the work was based on
source material, offers the opportunity here for an analysis and explicit statement of the nature of the text and of its reflection of significant points in the span of Gadda's writing

organizzato e condotto in collaborazione con IFI e guidato dai proff. Lucia Pietroni e Cristiano
Toraldo di Francia. L’obiettivo della sperimentazione progettuale era incrementare l’attenzione verso il
design sostenibile proponendo lo sviluppo di prodotti/sistemi di arredo bar per la somministrazione
di cibi e bevande a basso impatto ambientale

No full textThe cost of photovoltaic systems has strongly decreased in the past years and, correspondingly, also the cost of this form of electric energy is now near the parity in many countries. This paper examines the new trends of technological development of the PV module in comparison with the classical silicon based technology in terms of their possible impact on the Levelized Cost of Photovoltaic Energy. Surprisingly enough it is found that R&D mainly focused at decreasing installation costs will play a major role in the next years to help a wider diffusion of the PV plants. © 2015 IEEE
The Development of Sensor Applications in the Sectors of Energy and Environment in Italy, 1976–2015
No full textAlthough sensor technologies have been developing quite similarly all over the world, the investigation of their applications has been more affected by the specific industrial and economic characteristics of each country. This paper aims to investigate the development of applications based on sensor devices in the sectors of energy and the environment, in Italy, throughout the last forty years (1976–2015), examining the most relevant papers published by Italian R & D groups working in this field. Italy depends on foreign imports for more than 80% of its primary energy needs, and this has directed the research effort on the development of sensor applications both to improve load shaping and consumers’ awareness and to develop specific equipment to maximize renewable energy production. Similarly, for the environment sector, there are increasing efforts to develop solutions to support a more and more capillary control of the environment itself using a cooperative approach. In both the sectors it seems that the solutions proposed can help to relieve the structural problems that Italy suffers and that the scientific and technical results obtained so far also have significant international relevance

The impact of recycling policies on the photovoltaic Levelized Cost of the Electricity
No full textRecently the EU commission has included the PV panels into the new Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) directive. This paper examines the impact of this decision on the Levelized Cost of photovoltaic energy for silicon solar cells based panels. It is found that panel recycling only slightly affects the Levelized Cost of Electricity and that, if processes of reusing the solar silicon are developed, recycling could even favourably affect the cost itself. © 2013 IEEE
